This was unplanned. We were driving home from Victoria and needed to stay the night and found the hotel had accommodation. So I had no expectations as I had not read any reviews etc. Hotel is in great location opposite a park next to Woolworths and a club and in the main street so walk to cafes etc. Even though the hotel is Main Street it’s quiet we stayed in a deluxe queen with balcony, which is ground floor. We look towards the park on the other side of the street. Rooms are very large with lounge table chairs and a small kitchen area.

We enjoyed our stay at the Sandbar Hotel. The staff we a delight. They provided fresh milk and cookies and a couple of chocolates which was lovely. The room was spotlessly clean and in a great location. We walked to Nick's Thai restaurant and had the best meal we had had in a long while. Although the hotel is located on the main street, there was no street noise. We would highly recommend staying at the Sandbar hotel. Great value for money.

Clean. Comfie bed with fresh crisp sheets and extra blankets. Good parking. Attentive staff on site when we had a small problem. Almost next door to Services Club with good meals, and other hotels a few minutes walk. Good heating warmed the room quickly. Liked the nice long bench below TV to make our breakfast on. Room 9 was quiet. Our 2nd stay at Gabriel

It was clean and well presented. Close to our venue for dinner and show. In main street.

I came back to my room after a day travelling and then going out for the evening, looking forward to a cup of tea. Unfortunately, there was no milk given to me or provided in the fridge and reception was closed as it was late.

In main street close to all facilities. Room was spacious. Covered parking for deluxe rooms.

Fox did not work even though I followed directions. Unable to stream from my iPad. Staff not available to answer questions next day. Office closed until 2.00 check in. Bed not very comfortable. Too hard and mattress slopes to the middle.

Location is perfect, 2 doors down from Woolies and on the main street. Room was very big and clean. There is a nice size fridge in the room.

My personal preference is a softer bed, this bed was quite firm. Rooms are not serviced daily. The air-conditioning conditioning unit is right above the bed

Very clean and comfortable room. Beds were beautiful. Great shower. Hosts were extremely helpful directing us to meals etc when we arrived late. Meals at the Chinese Restaurant at the RSL were next level amazing. Highly recommended x

Our room was toward the back of the motel and so there was no road traffic overnight. The gentleman who served us was polite and helpful. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. The motel is within easy walking distance to the main eateries. I think it was value for money.

Great location and the family suite was a grwat layout with plenty of room and a good sized bathroom with a bath for the kids

The beds were quite hard - a nice pillow top mattress topper would have made a huge difference. Also the step up into the bath/shower you had to be very careful not to slip

Quiet, economical and comfortable. Fabulous towel art on the bed really gave me a happy surprise.

A guest next door sat outside and smoked at 2.30am and I woke up to the smell of their smoke. As an asthmatic, not ideal.
