Good quiet location, great bathrooms, nice room, I would stay again. Space on side of carpark for trailer

Nothing that would stop me staying again but the room I had in the corner had no outside light to guide you in the dark. Also, this might sound weird, but when they advertise heated towel rails, you kind of expect the towels to be sitting on the towel rail! Mine were "cold" when I used them as I hadn't really looked for towels prior to getting into the shower.

This is our 3 stay at the Merivale Motel We attend the Batlow Cider Festival each year & stay in Tumut Very convenient location & we like that it's clean & traditional

This time, we had room 1, which is right next to the office & that's not a huge issue. However, on the night we stayed at around midnight, there was a guest ranting & raving on the afterhour number because there wasn't a parking spot. The issue was some idiot guest parked across 2 spaces

Staff gave clear instructions and communicated via phone and email of how to enter property, key lock location, password as well for when leaving premises. Easy in and out. Loved the room, beds, lots of blankets during the cold winter in Tumut, and heated floors in the bathroom!!! (loved it). Clean and well presented. Pretty much in the centre of Tumut, with a walks distance from supermarkets and fast food outlets.

We felt very much "at home". Shelley was most helpful and the rooms look like they have been recently upgraded to a very high standard. The nice new towels and the heated tiled bathroom floor were a treat. Well done to all involved.

Perhaps the bed being positioned a little closer to the window to allow for a bedside table on both sides. However I do understand that if a guest had a large wheelchair then the extra space would be needed to access one side of the bed.

I stay in Tumut regularly and at different locations ...... this is probably the best. Need to improve access to key safe for room. I struggled to open it as per instructions provided. Also perhaps better lighting around room # 5 as a late arrival had to fiddle around with key. Only minor issues ..... will be back again.

Small Pantry in Kitchen area would be great.

Location and cleanliness. Good size room and kitchen facilities .

We advised heated bathroom floor not working, staff noticed fuse and control panel switched off . Reset ON OFF still didn't work 2nd morning as they did not reset timer. Frustrating as winter morning. Appears no management on site only to resolve issues just housekeeping staff doing what they do. This was only downside

God location, easy access. Room spacious and modern. Bed was comfy. Shower pressure not so good. Aircon was noisy with a squeaking noise so turned it off as it was cool anyway Bedside lamp didn't work and light switches were on the far wall and not at entrance so had to use phone torch to find the right switches.

The room was recently renovated and thus in good condition. It had a good kitchenette with sink, microwave and fridge plus cutlery and crockery. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

The only issue was difficulty with the toilet flushing mechanism. I reported the problem and was thanked for letting staff know.

very clean and tidy, plus having a little outdoor area if having people visit while awayis great, very pretty grounds.

i don't like to say anything bad, but the mattresses need replacing. i have slept in two different rooms and they are old or cheap with springs being felt while trying to get comfortable. that is my only complaint.

We really enjoyed our stay at Merivale. It was the most comfortable room we have had since leaving Queensland. The amenities were excellent, the heated floor in the bathroom area and the heated towel rail were excellent. As was the sink in the living area and ample power points. It was very clean and comfortable, would certainly stay again if in the area.
