Located in a quiet neighbourhood on the outskirts of Rouen, the hotel sits in beautiful grounds with car parking on the property. I got a warm welcome from the staff when an arrived. They were friendly and interested in helping me. The room was spacious, clean and the bed was comfortable. A nice size bathroom with a bath with shower. The breakfast was included in the price and there was a great selection on offer. There is a Bar & Restaurant at the hotel . I didn’t use either but both looked enticing. I would stay again when I next visit Rouen. I was just passing through on this visit.

It is a traditional and very comfortable hotel with a charming old fashioned feel. I can’t fault the service, the staff are friendly and efficient, the dining room is attractive and the menu varied. There is enough variety of food in the breakfast room for most tastes without being wasteful and they have a rather fun machine that squeezes the oranges to give excellent fresh orange juice. We have stayed here twice before on our way south and on return journey and would do so again. The rooms look onto the gardens and trees giving a country feel, and it is quiet. We are travelling in the late Autumn and are a couple in our late 60’s. The parking is great as it is private but separated from the hotel by the private walkway and lawn.

The location was very good and the grounds are beautiful. The disabled parking would be better if opposite where you have to walk the path to the Hotel. The staff were very friendly and helped whenever possible which when travelling with someone with mobility issues is always appreciated. The meal in the restaurant was very good.

We had an issue over breakfast as we chose to eat late and the choice by then was limited but the Hotel refunded one of the charges which was fair for what choice we had.

Perfect stayover on our way home from Spain. Very friendly staff, very dog friendly, very clean, amazing breakfast, comfy beds especially the pillows which felt like sleeping on a cloud! We ate dinner in the restaurant, the food and drinks were exceptional and staff were friendly and helpful, it was a lovely experience. We had the fillet boef au whiskey and a very ample cheeseboard. The views from the bedroom window were picturesque out the back. I can't fault anything. We will definately staying here again on our next trip. I highly recommend.

The staff were very friendly, restaurant staff were very speedy, and we always had our room cleaned even when we left later during the day. Breakfast was impressive with fresh orange juice, and lots of different pastries/food options.

Not something that someone without a 1 year old would notice. The Tables in the restaurants had table cloths. Which, whilst lovely to look at, not the most practical when you have a toddler that pulls everything in sight. Not so much a complaint as I doubt the hotel gets many 1 year olds in their restaurant.

Comfortable and clea room, good choice of hot and cold breakfast, freshly squeezed juice, fresh bread and pasteies, homemade cakes and pastries. Pretty garden and grounds. Evening meal delicious, locally sourced and skillfully cooked. Plenty of parking. Easy to find off the motorway. Peaceful stopover about 20 mins from central Rouen. Reception booked us a taxi into Rouen and allowed us to leave our car in the car park as didn't want to drive in.

The hotel seemed short staffed. The poor guy in reception was also serving in the bar and clearing tables.

I've been coming to this hotel for at least 15 years. In the last couple of years I have visited less. So it was a real pleasure to be reminded about what a good place it is to stay. The rooms were so well equipped (coffee machine, kettle, fridge, water in the room, bath) and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. The welcome warm and friendly. Reception is open 24/7. My dog is as welcome now as his predecessor was 15 years ago. And the hotel is well located for travel via the shuttle.

In a lovely location, which was unexpected considering it was just minutes off the motorway......was ideal for our journey break! . Lovely room overlooking the garden.. The balcony was a great touch... Breakfast was an absolute bonus and very good!! It, was fantastic and so kind that they brought it to the room for us by a jolly and polite room service waiter!. The in room safe was a bonus!!

I guess, minor negatives, but we did think 18 euros for the dog, was a little bit steep considering a lot of places now, offer a nominal or free stay for the dog . Although the room was clean, perhaps "Could do better"?!

Nice grounds and layout. Great food for breakfast and dinner. Wide choice at reasonable price. View over pond with ducks. Fluffy dressing gowns and towels. Excellent dinner wine at the price. So dog friendly. 2 hours or less to Calais. English spoken. Easy check in.

Group of loud English customers at dinner then arguing over dinner bill itemisation and taking over the only receptionist on duty for more than half an hour during check out. French pillows rather flat and hard. Shower a bit weak. Netflix not working.

chose the upgrade to superior. Unfortunately this was one floor up and no elevator. however, staff offered assistance with luggage. very helpful. the restaurant was exceptionally good. lovely ambiance and good quality dinner. The grounds were pretty and adequate to exercise the dog briefly. The situation was first class. very near to motorway and yet it was in a quiet suburb

Elevator would be helpful, but in future ill ask for a ground floor room
