The Staff was very accommodating, and Friendly

We booked a room with 2 double beds. There were 3 of us. I am assuming this is a room for 4. There were only 2 pods to make coffee I had to return to front desk to get more. Then after returning to the room I realized there were only 2 coffee cups...another trip to the main desk. There was no information in the room on area nicer dining establishments.

Staff was absolutely wonderful. We had to quickly leave 3 days early and they let my daughter get in the room to remove all our belongings. They were very helpful on getting our 3 days .only back. My partner went into Cardiac arrest in Wausau so I could stay with my son.

EXCELENT FREE HOT CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST AT THE HOLIDAY IN EXPRESS. PET FRIENDLY - BUT EXTRA CHARGE PER DAY FOR IT CLOSE TO CONFRENCE CENTER, BUT BECAUSE WE HAD A DOG WITH US WE WERE TRANSFERED OVER TO THE HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS. (WHICH FREE BREAKFAST WAS INCLUDED THERE SO ACTUALLY WORKED OUT BETTER) EASY WALK TO BAR/GRILL ACCROSS THE STREET ATTHE HOLIDAY IN CONVENTION CENTER. GREAT FOOD AND STAFF THERE.

A BIT CONFUSED BOOKED ONLINE AT HOLIDAY IN CONVENTION CENTER BUT ENDED UP AT THE EXPRESS ACCROSS THE STREET, WORKED OUT BETTER THOUGH WITH AN AWESOME CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST. ALSO DIDNT LET US KNOW OF THE $30 SURCHARGE PER NIGHT PER ROOM (WE ORGINALLY HAD ADJOINING ROOMS BOOKED) FOR A PET. BUT THEY CALLED US A FEW DAYS BEFORE AND MADE IT WORK.

Room and facilities were clean and comfortable. Pool and hot tub were nice. Overall very good and would return.

Two little annoyances, when the room next to us was using the shower there was an intermittent knocking noise in our room from the pipes in the wall next to the bed. Also was one of the busier weekends in Stevens Point due to the NCAA Baseball tournament and UWSP graduation weekend. The hotel was packed, but they made the decision to clean the carpets on a Saturday afternoon of the busiest weekend. That seemed like a poor choice as it was loud enough without the carpet shampoo machine running outside the door for an hour straight. Understand the need to do that to maintain a nice clean hotel, just thought maybe a Tuesday afternoon would have been a better day for that.

So clean and everyone was helpful and friendly! The pool and hot tub were wonderful. The beds were comfy and we were close to everything we needed.

No complaints

The only downfall was breakfast . No sausage links by 9am and they wouldn’t fill. Turkey sausage Patty was like cardboard .
