The food exceeded our expectations. Both dinner and breakfast experiences were fabulous and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome.

There was no official welcoming to the venue. We drove in and someone pruning a bush waved us to a parking area and said someone would be with us to explain everything which never happened. The rooms are not very sound proof and one's neighbours in the nextt room can be overheard. Maybe a small bottle of shampoo and body wash could be added to the small bar of soap in the shower - no other toiletries available. The Billing procedure is quite rudimentary.

Wonderful tranquil location and accommodation in an ancient building, a piece of history lovingly restored. Lovely grounds with plenty of activity facilities and a nice 1km walk trail within the secure grounds. Great food and a really helpful host with lots of local knowledge and advice. A minor hot water glitch was attended to and resolved instantly and our host even offered to take us to a game reserve we had booked in his 4x4 as overnight rain made its approach dirt road tricky for little cars. Most comfy bed ever!!

After drive for a long distance to arrive here was like to arrive in an oasis. The room was beautiful and very comfortable. I decided to extend my stay and felt very recharged. The breakfast is awesome and the dinner too. First class meal! I must say thank you to Nandie that gave me all the support I needed. Highly recommend staying here!

Although the staff helped me, the hot water in the shower doesn’t last long. Would be nice to see how improve it.

The hot water didn't work in our apartment , so we had to go to another apartment that had hot water. Attention to detail, like having a socket near to a mirror so that one could do their hair. I had to reverse the camera on my phone to do my hair. Perhaps a little less of the detail being put into the decor and more on the practical.

Written by my 9 year old son, Judah: Seven Fountains Farm is great for kids because there are lots of things to do like: play with the dogs, Dakota and Skye, swim in the pool, jump on the trampoline and play table tennis. There are also swings, hammocks and lots of balls to play with. For those who play piano, there is a white piano in the restaurant for you to play your favorite songs on. There is also a small library in the restaurant with a few board games. For breakfast there was a selection cold breakfasts like cornflakes, muslie and yoghurt and a hot breakfast on bacon and eggs. In your own accommodation there are heaters for those cold nights and free shampoo and body lotion. You also don't need to worry a out towels because they provide them. They do have internet, so remember to bring your iPad. There is a 1km walk to the dam and there a viewing point where you can have a picnic. At night, listen to the lions roar in the game reserve next door as you fall asleep in the most comfortable beds. Seven Fountains Farm is a place I would definitely like to visit again.

Simply curated, the rooms are minimalist in design and cater for various family configurations. Intensely quiet, the croaking frogs and the lowing of the cattle can be heard in the dead of night. Sleep comes easily here as the beds are super comfortable. And supper? You'll be missing out if you don't have at least one supper date at Seven Fountains! Dan is a superb host - patient, attentive and responsive. And the various activities will keep you happily busy on the farm. Play table tennis, swim, take a walk, swing or jump on the trampoline.

I dare you to visit and find something you don't appreciate! 😊

Simple, quiet comfortable cottage with shady trees, in rustic bush setting - great for relaxing after a long day’s drive. Pleasant bush walk around the dam, great breakfast and friendly staff.

The pics gave the impression of a game farm when in fact this is at a farm nearby. This farm comprises the reception/restaurant building as shown in the pics, a number of cottages, and the surrounding bush with a path to the dam.

The little things that really are important were missing, somewhere to sit in the bathroom. Most irritatingly, there were no mirrors near to a socket. Perhaps a little more thought to the little things.

The location was lovely - on a pretty farm with history and a nice walk to a dam where we saw Red Lechwe. The rooms were very comfortable and tasteful. We were blown away to receive a five star dinner in the middle of nowhere.

We really liked the historic feel of the farm, including the old stone wall, which really gives one a sense of the history of the surrounding area. There was a lovely garden and pretty walks on the farm, and i enjoyed taking the friendly dogs on the property for a walk. We liked our accomodation too. It was spacious and a combination of modern finishes with historical art and furnishings. The service from Daan was helpful and very friendly. The stars at night we absolutely incredible, and due to the lack of light pollution, im sure ive never seen so many stars in the sky at once.

We thought there would be a bath from the images we saw when booking. I also had high expectations for the food based on reviews for the site. While the breakfast we generous and delicious, i wouldnt go as far as to call the meals "michelin-star level" as some other reviewers called it.
