The location was great. Disappointed that we traveled 30 min on gravel road. But it was another good experience for the family. Luckily we used a bakkie. We made our own food. We liked the facilities. Well organized. Everything we needed was there.

Chloe, the manager, was wonderful and helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The rooms and facilities were also lovely and we really enjoyed making use of them all.

The lack of Aircon. For a place that gets so hot, Aircon would make a big difference and something one might expect from a 4 star accomodation.

Secluded away from.everything / every one. Stunning hot tub. It rained the entire time we were there, so we were forced to relax. The element on the geyer packed up and was replaced / fixed within an hour.

There was no oven. There was no grater. The bathroom was huge and the shower had no walls, so water everywhere. Bed was massive 😴

It was simply amazing all round … walking around in the domain with plains and bush surrounded by kudu, giraffes, several kinds of bucks and hogs is envigorating …

Would have loved to explore the domain on Mountain bike but no rental service available…

These are lovely cottages in a remote setting, perfect for relaxing!

We stayed during a cold spell so cottages would benefit from some heating, maybe gas/electric fire to take chill out of air.

The photos display the luxury , comfort and beauty of the chalet , but the surprices of nature was hidden. Waking up ,viewing from our bed njalas having breakfast , sitting at the riverhouse with a display of thunder and lightning surrounding us, with a kudu family checking us out!Everything ( bed, chalet, service) was great - sitting on our stoep and listening to the birds chatting was another best!

Everything! This truly was a home away from home. It's absolutely stunning. Everything has been thought of. It was truly magical. The boat house is beautiful and ideal if you are a group. Chloe was wonderful. We would go again in a heartbeat.

The only recommendation I would make is to have a bath mat in the huge beautiful shower as the tiles can be slippy.

The location and the property are wonderful for relaxing with family or friends

The road to the property could be in better condition however the hosts did mention this on booking so it was not a surprise

perfect solitude surrounded by nature. Total privacy, everything beautifully appointed. Birdsong during the day and a symphony of frogs at night.

Loved the views from the balcony. Enjoyed the hike and bird watching activities.

The signage along the hiking routes need to be checked out, some signage boards were missing.
