Our stay at Aelia Suites was absolutely amazing! The suite was beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and fully equipped with everything we needed. The private pool was a dream – the perfect place to relax and unwind. A special thank you to Marsel, who waited for us and welcomed us at 2:00 in the morning with a warm smile and incredible kindness. His hospitality made us feel truly cared for and set the tone for a perfect stay. The location is peaceful yet convenient, and every detail of the accommodation reflects quality and comfort. We loved our stay at Aeilia :) The room was excellent and our host Marsel, was fantasic! He met us when we arrived and was so helpful sharing information about the area and where to visit, eat, etc. The location was perfect for us - just outside of town (Istros) and close to 2 beautiful beaches (Voulisma and Agiou - the local one a town), many restaurants, and super markets. The kitchen was well fitted with everything we needed - Marsel had fresh fruit, water and some coffee pods there for us when we arrived. There was also s+p and olive oil to use :) The pool was really enjoyable after a day exploring the area and this property is impeccably maintained. We would absolutely return here if we ever find ourselves in Crete again!

Nothing - everything was superb.

The host, Marcel, was super friendly and always had great tips for trips or restaurants. His wife even baked a very tasty cake for us one time. We had no problems at all, but if there had been any problems, we are sure Marcel would have solved them in a blink. We traveled a lot to a few gorges (more or less nearby) for hiking and visited some villages around. When we came back in the evenings we enjoyed the fantastic pool and view. We really could relax there. The apartment is very well equipped and provided everything we needed. The beaches nearby are very beautiful. The Voulisma Beach of course is the more popular one. This sandy beach really is great and there also are bars. We had a nice walk along and around the area of Karavostasi and Agios Panteleimonas Beach and relaxed there on the sunbeds as well. Only a few people where there. So if you like beaches not that crowded and don't need restaurants at the beach you should go there. It's a rocky beach but it also has sandy parts where you can easily enter the water without shoes. If you like hiking (and a little bit of "climbing") we recommend driving to: Kritsa Gorge Richtis Gorge (very touristy and with an entrance fee) Orino/Butterfly Gorge Pevki Gorge We also recommend visiting: Agios Nikolaos We visited the Voulismeni Lake and took a walk from there along Minos Beach, and Ormos Beach to the "Cave" which was a very beautiful and quiet place where we enjoyed the view at the sea and Agioi Pantes. Eloundas We did the trip to the island Spinalonga and also went for a walk from Elounda to the peninsula (Large Spinalonga). Sissi Village On our way back to the airport we visited this place. A beautiful village with a small harbor for fishingboats. So you see the apartment is located quite well to reach a lot of destinations. We never got bored and always could recover in the wonderful apartment afterwards. We really recommend staying there!

Nothing at all. Just be aware that there are only a few possibilities to store your clothes. It was quite enough space for us and of course there is enough space to store your suitcases. It was no problem for us at all, but if you are planning a longer stay and don't like leaving a few clothes in the suitcase, you should probably book the bigger apartment/suite there. In the end we didn't want to leave at all and surely will come back, if we are around the area again. Thank you for this great holiday!! :)

Marcel was super friendly with load of fantastic recommendations of places to visit and the best restaurants! The apartment was compact but they managed to fit everything in that you needed. There was plenty of seating-bar stools, patio table and chairs, sun loungers. The balcony was lovely too which was off the bedroom...great for morning coffee. Lovely views Kitchen was well equipped. I took what I knew we would need, but everything was provided. We stayed 4 nights and travelled around the East side of the Island so this location was great! We walked to the local restaurants and beach each within approx. 15 mins I would stay again if in the area.

I found it a little on the small side, especially for hanging my clothes however I always take too much!! The storage under the sofa was essential. I wouldn't recommend if you have mobility issues as the stair case is rather steep.

The place was so beautiful and clean, very comfortable. The pool really nice with all equipment needed. The view was also stunning. Special mention to Marsel the host who was simply adorable, always handful, gave us a lot of good address and insights about the place. The cleaning lady was also adorable. Kitchen fully equipped very useful. Bed was really comfortable. The balcony is a real plus. There was a lot of good restaurants around and beautiful beaches. You can directly by foot. There is also luxury club really nice to spend the day. You can go through the city in 30 minutes by foot, but I would recommend to have a car.

We would have some recommendations on the place itself. For example tu put hangers for the towels and clothes from outside as there are not a lot pf storage. The bathroom is quite small and there is no door to the shower so you really put water everywhere. Very fiew storage in the room as well and it would be great to have the TV inside the room and not downstairs. Regarding the city the transportation are really bad it’s complicated to go to the nearest city. You don’t have direct bus to visit the main cities around you always have to go from Istro to agios nikolaos to then visit the other cities. Also, when we booked the room, it says that there was a direct navette from the airport, but we never saw it.

This was the perfect stay. The apartment was so clean and well thought out. Pool was perfectly located to get the most of the sunlight . Our apartment was cleaned every day and was left spotless. Marsel was such a fantastic host. He had so many recommendations for us and was always ready for a chat! The village was within walking distance and had everything we needed. Beaches were second to none. Personally I preferred the beach across from our apartment as it was quieter but that’s just my preference!! I could not recommend Aelia suites more. A definite 100% recommendation from us

We liked Absolutely everything about this place, the view from apartments, people who’s working here are very nice, if we will come again we definitely will choose the same location, the same apartments and won’t get bored. We had amazing experience and amazing holidays.

Marsel was exceptional as was the cleaner & they were always so helpful & kind. Lovely property with fab individual swimming pool & very modern.

We think it’s worth perhaps adding to the description that no toilet upstairs & stairs can be difficult during the night but the property is immaculate - lovely people in the village of Istron & we really enjoyed our stay.

The room was well equipped and spotless. Perfect for couples. It has a nice little kitchenette, a small (refreshing!) pool outside, and a nice balcony. It is quiet and private, yet relatively accessible to a nearby village with lots of nice restaurants and beaches. The host was very friendly and helpful.

I don't think there's something specific I would expect. It was really great!

Looks exactly like the pictures. Lovely and clean, and wonderful to have private sun bathing and pool area. The staff were lovely, very helpful and the communication via WhatsApp was brilliant. Close enough to beaches and a small town which had everything you'd want on holiday. Adored the area, mountains meet ocean, gorgeous. Would definitely recommend.

It was perfect. Room is quite compact, but I didn't mind that.
