Emmanuel, avano, jot and Maria Paula were absolutely incredible. Emmanuel’s parents were even visiting - Guido and Mercedes - and they were amazing people. The whole place is like a family and we were treated like family. Sure - we were the paying guests - but I truly believe we’ve become lifelong friends - even in light of the 5 questions I asked Emmanuel each day. The property, room, service is perfect. It is one of the most relaxing and beautiful locations at the bottom of locorotondo. Highly recommend. I could write for days. We’ll be back and will recommend to others.

Everything. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left we were treated with the utmost care and attention. Everything was perfect. The location is stunning especially the grounds, the accommodation, the pool area- in fact everything. There is nothing we would change and we would absolutely love to return. The view from the hotel to the old town is stunning and can be easily reached by a safe country path- maximum 15 minutes walk. The attention to detail by the owner is first class and anyone visiting this hotel will not be disappointed. We are currently in a 5 star hotel in Lecce and this hotel is an equal match!

Masseria is perfect in every way -- beautiful restored and quaint facility, gorgeous landscape, beautiful view of Locorotondo, wonderful breakfast. The hospitality is superb -- Emmanuele and his staff go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. On the evening of our arrival he even drove us up to Locorotondo (he reserved dinner for us), and then picked us up. We loved this location and it was very convenient to drive to visit other villages in the area. Honestly, one of our favorite stays in Italy. Everything is top notch -- facility, room, linens, food, service! We could have stayed longer!

We loved everything about our stay, it’s one of the most beautiful properties we’ve been to. Located just out of town (a very short drive or 15 min walk), the property looks back into Locorotondo- the view is stunning! Emanuel, Mariapolo, Evano and the team are welcoming, friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful stay. The beds were extremely comfortable, the room was immaculate and the buffet breakfast was delicious! We loved the thoughtful touches such as pancakes with little smiley faces for the kids, and including a little surprise for the kids with the turn down service. I would highly recommend this property, and we hope to return again one day!

Nothing! It was incredible.

Even today, we remember those days with great joy. Breakfast was amazing, with lots of delicious things that we loved from the very first moment. The fruits were fresh and sweet, just wonderful! The coffee smelled so good and gave us energy to start the day. The rolls were soft inside and crispy outside – you just wanted to eat them slowly! Everything we ate and drank had a special flavor, which made breakfast something really lovely that we enjoyed together. It was a great way to start the day, peaceful and happy. The place where the hotel was located was perfect. It was a little far away so it was quiet, but also close enough to go and see places. All around there were lots of green trees and plants, and beautiful colorful flowers. Going to the center was like a nice walk that we loved. When we entered the hotel, we felt peace, as if time stood still and we could really rest. We still remember all of that very well, and yes, we miss it a lot. It was a spectacular place, just what we wanted to be together and have beautiful memories.

There is no better place than Masseria Grofoleo and no more gracious host than Emanuel, who, along with his loyal companion, Evanno, will go to great lengths to provide the best possible stay. Our accommodation was comfortable (and incredibly fragrant) and had a balcony with a beautiful view of the city of Locorotondo, just a few minutes’ walk from the Masseria (also, Alberobello and Monopoli are two other beautiful cities nearby). Breakfast, served in a glass-enclosed veranda, lets you start your day surrounded by nature and the stunning landscapes of the Valle d’Itria. By the way, Emanuel’s mother’s homemade jams are fantastic. Everything was simply perfect. For two days, it was our little piece of paradise (crowned with a special dinner that Emanuel and Evanno prepared for us on the last day). We will return, and it won’t take long. Thank you to everyone at Masseria Grofoleo for the warm hospitality and kindness.

The Masseria Grofoleo, is a beautifully presented property. The rooms are lovely, cool & calming interiors & well appointed; the gardens are stunning with the view of the pretty town of Locorotondo from pool & breakfast area. Emanuel, Mariapoalo & Evano are the perfect hosts. Nothing is too much trouble. We were there with family & friends & they made us feel very special.

A very peaceful and luxurious place to stay. The fact it was walking distance from Locorotondo was a real plus to enjoy diners in one of our favourite city. How to leave a message on what we like the most without speaking about Emanuele and his crew. Always there with a smile to make your stay unique. A huge thank you to you and your team Emanuele ! great hospitality of the owner Emanuel, his mother, as well as other staff, Beautifully mainteined propery ideal for a longer and relaxt stay during exploring Pulia. Very clean, confortable and spacious room arranged with a lot of taste, grat breakfirst with local fresh ingrediants and pastries served in the beautifull garden. Orange and lemon jam prepared by owner's mother was amazing. Really good ans supportive energy !!

Masseria Grofoleo is heaven on earth. The reality is much more beautiful than on the pictures, from the smell of flowers in the garden to the smell of duvets. Every detail is perfect. I cant even explain how wonderful experience was for my family to stay here, especially tasty breakfast in the garden with view of Locorotondo. Its worth every euro we paid. I cant forget to thank all the staff, their work ensured that our stay was breathtaking. We could highly recommend this accommodation, one of the best I ´ve ever stayed.
