The whole property is gorgeous and the owners were absolutely brilliant. They were so accommodating and made sure you felt at home. The property is right in the middle of brantome so you’re close to all the shops and restaurants and beautiful park. If you stay here you must eat at the restaurant at the hotel as it’s the best food I’ve eaten. I 100% recommend staying here and will definitely be returning myself!

Our hosts were fabulous. Brantome is a favourite destination but this was our first time at Chou Chou. The chef provided some inspired menus to suit our vegetarian tastes. An artist at work, and pretty exceptional for France. The room was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Couldn't have been better.

It was so perfect. The welcome was warm and friendly and it only got better from there! Room (balcony top floor) was perfect and the pool wonderful. We ate there one night - and the food was exceptional. It’s a busy restaurant in its own right, and the outdoor seating area lovely. Julian and his wife were perfect hosts. Only 5 min walk to the town, and parking was safe and convenient. Just wonderful.

Everything! Great rooms,with everything you could need. Comfortable beds. Spotlessly clean, inside and out. Beautiful grounds and pool. Breakfast was very good with lots of fresh fruits, yoghurt,bread, Coffee,juice. Hosts were very friendly, and helpful.

The owners were extremely helpful and friendly, catered to our every need. The location is perfect- just on the edge of the busy centre. The pool is lovely and the whole hotel is nice and serene. We ate dinner in the hotel restaurant one night, and it was absolutely delicious and in the perfect setting. We look forward to staying here again and recommending it to our friends and family :)

Julien and Angelique are perfect hosts and ensure guests have an enjoyable stay. Our room had ac which was very welcome. The hotel is perfectly located and we loved relaxing by the swimming pool. Had we not stayed here we probably would not have discovered the restaurant which is superb and we ate there twice

The room is a little small for the price.

Centrally located, modern and clean. Thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast, fresh bread, croissants and beautiful jams. They catered very well for my wife who is gluten free. Very modern room. Parking outside the door, for free. The staff were excellent and suggested a great restaurant, as theirs was closed on Fridays. Lovely town as well. A great stay.

In general the whole setup was fantastic,we had dinner there aswell and great food. Owner and wife speek several languages (Deutsch,English,French naturally) I can wholly recommend this beautiful place.

Lovely hotel with a beautiful garden with a wonderful swimmingpool. It is located right around the corner from the is wonderful city of Brantôme. Very nice people and wonderful food and wines! Thanks a lot.

It was really hot in de top of the room where our three boys slept and it was not to be solved with the small blower. And there is only a bath without curtain, every morning everything was totally wet.

A lovely setting just on the edge of Brantome but an easy 5 minute walk to the river. A good welcome, well equipped room and a dip in the pool was welcome after a day of cycling. Secure bike storage overnight. Really enjoyable evening meal on the terrace, beautiful food. Breakfast was generous and delicious with super croissants and bread. Enjoyed our conversations with the hosts-a super stay.
