At this inn you get what you pay for, however the staff did an honest effort to make it feel clean and maintained. It shows in every little detail. Maids here are outstanding. Reception is friendly and helpful. Towels and bedding are in a great shape for such an old hotel. This shows that the owner isn't a cheap guy, but indeed a generous person. I would recommend this inn to all my friends.

The shower head is a little cheap and worn, but otherwise nice showering experience. Breakfast represented by coffee and muffins is great if you want diabetes. I guess you can buy grocery at Kroger nearby if you want to save. It was still a good way to connect with other guests.

This is probably the BEST Super8 I have ever stayed at. This WAS the best hotel, meeting my requirements, my whole trip of 8 hotel stays this time around! I had a roll-in shower, grabbars in the bathroom, a tall toilet, (its hard to get up off low toilets for some older folks like me with hip pain), parking at my door, bench for suitcase, and to sit on. The pillows were squishy and GREAT!(I bring my own, but yours were usable too).

The entrance wasn't clearly marked at the road. The driveway was shared by a Waffle House restaurant, not a problem once I realized it was the Super 8 driveway too. I could see the hotel, but had difficulty finding the entrance. The bed was too high for me, but I'm short! The chairs were too narrow for me, but I'm obese! I was thankful there was a bench I could sit on. The blanket was scratchy.

The room was big and the ADA bathroom was large with dual shower heads.

There was NO Radio/Alarm clock in the room and when I asked for a Wake-UP call it NEVER came! The room had an over powering smell of cleaning solution throughout which to me said 'What are they hiding?" The property is hidden behind the Waffle House making departing the property interesting due to the front parking lot was overflowing with customers for the restaurant.

I liked everything overall i.e. location, value, friendly/professional staff, cleanliness.

BUT the breakfast was disappointing. There was only orange/apple juice & muffins; no coffee or even hot water to make it tea. Fortunately, due to its location, McDonald's and Waffle House were within walking distance. I'd rather pay more to offset the inconvenience.

Large sitting room with couch and table. coffee maker. Comfortable bed and desk. The breakfast was plenty and delicious.

We are old and requested a room at ground level weeks before our arrival but it was not held. We took a 2nd story room.

Great value; clean each time we have stayed there; good location (short walking distance to beach and within walking distance of Walmart and Kroger); pleasant check-in experiences; good wifi; okay mini-refrigerator and microwave; for a motel in this price range well-maintained.

If one is driving a pickup truck or large vehicle some of the parking spaces in the front of the motel might seem tight, but there is more parking behind the motel.

The room was mostly clean, the tub looked like it had been repainted & was peeling though. The bed was comfortable, and the sitting area was nice to have. The location was perfect! So close to walk to the beach.

The breakfast was non existent, but we had no expectations. There were some bugs in the room but not an infestation. The bathroom tub was peeling.

The room was very spacious and the attendant at the front desk very nicely was able to accommodate us when I mentioned I couldn't climb stairs due to recently having foot surgery. My kids loved having access to the pool which was a shirt distance from our room. We also loved being next to the waffle house and close enough to walk to the beach.

The room looked clean when we got there. But when we moved the bed to put it against the wall (my kids tend to fall off the bed), it was very dirty underneath. There was even an old bottle of lotion under the bed. We also didn't like that the coffee pot we had in our room had mold in it due to some old coffee. The housekeeper was nice enough to bring us a clean one.

This was a short drive from the beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean. There was a mini fridge and small table with chairs. Breakfast in the morning wasn't much. Drinks and muffins. Everything was easily accessible and close by. We enjoyed our stay.

Breakfast could have been better. Maybe cereal and milk or granola bars or fruit.

Room was comfortable, location was perfect to walk to the seawall and surrounding areas plus stores and restaurants available within walking distance. Breakfast was simple selections, coffee, juice, hot water and tea and muffins.

Thicker comforter on the bed Lol If you like heavy blankets then bring one or ask the front desk for an extra one. Pool is small and vas very hot but that is no fault of the hotel, Texas is hot and pools have a hard time staying cool if not shaded and even then they still get very warm in the heat of the day.
