Room was very good. Bed was comfortable, towels were plentiful and the location was perfect. We were going to be in the hotel for less than 12 hours, so I was looking for something inexpensive. I'd stay here again! Front desk staff was friendly and welcoming.

I wish there were at least hard boiled eggs at breakfast. Lots of carbs, bread, muffins, waffles -- just need a little protein to start my day! Otherwise, I enjoyed the property.

It was very convenient. Everything I needed or anywhere I wanted to go was within walking distance. The beach was just a walk away. There was a Walmart and plenty of restaurants nearby. The room was really nice. There was a little bit of paint missing in the shower, but that didn't bother me. It was more spacious than I thought it would be based on the online pictures. The staff was very nice and polite. The weight room was even nice. It wasn't big, but it was just enough. Plus, they had water in there for you. The pool was decent. It wasn't a bad hotel at all.

Breakfast was ok, except there was no meat selection. The bed was not that comfortable. If you like a real firm bed, then it will be fine for you.

The neighborhood around the hotel was bad. We actually watched people selling drugs at the neighboring motel selling drugs in their parking lot.

Lobby and room were very clean. A lot of places in Galveston feel “sticky” and damp, but my room was good. Bed was comfortable enough, not amazing but I slept well. Definitely bring your own toilet paper though LOL it was very cheap, which is surprising since the other bathroom products were nice and name brand. All of the employees were very nice, from front desk to maintenance. I was traveling alone and stayed for 3 nights. I felt very safe and felt that if I did happen to have any concerns the employees would be helpful. I didn’t have breakfast there so I can’t speak on that. I thought about hanging out at the pool but it looked a little dirty when I looked at it. Although it might not have been open, I didn’t ask. It was a little rainy and windy during my stay and that could have made the pool look dirty. Decided to spend time at the beach instead. If cheap toilet paper is the worst thing I can come up, I’d say that’s not too shabby. I’ve stayed here before and I’ll stay here again. It’s a good place to stay when you’re on a budget.

I did receive a room with a view of the water. It was a little farther back than I expected and the condo on the left blocked the sunrise and there's a hotel on the right but you do get a straight ahead view of the water and your own private balcony but you have to choose the room with the ocean view. The covered area by the front door and the parking lot are what you see first from the balcony. the water is beyond that but for the price it was nice. I could look over and see the water while sitting in my bed. I did like the little table with two chairs in the room. There's a side door you can go in that leads to the elevator. You can park there

Three waffle makers were nice but there was no other cooked food like eggs, potatoes, meat. Just the usual bread for toast, muffins, cereal.

The staff - they were very nice and accommodating, going above and beyond. Especially the nice lady receptionist who was on duty in the night of our arrival. And the nice lady who was taking care of breakfast in the morning. The beds - big and comfortable. :) And the bathroom - I really liked the size, so it doesn't feel like I'm in a shoe box and can't even turn around. This one was nice and spacious. The location was really nice.

The place could use some freshening up - the wall paint is chipping here and there, there's some mould in the bathtub and it overall just feels a little run down.

When looking for a hotel for our get away day it was important that the place was as clean as possible due to us having our 4 month old with us. It was very much to my standard. Comfy pillows the bed was fair, I personally like soft and puffy bedtops. I have a pillow top at home, but everyone has their own preference. Can't complain. It was a clean shower as well which was important because my baby and I showered. Loved the stay.

My only thing I would say needs attention is the time frame for breakfast. Not everyone wakes up early. Maybe extend the breakfast time til 10am, at least.

Good value for the rate. Not on the Seawall, but a block from the Seawall. Clean, comfortable room. Nice little balcony. It overlooked the parking lot and 61st St., but it was still nice to sit outside and watch the sunrise.

The pool was a little murky.

This was not our first stay at this facility. We always book 2 rooms as we stay in Galveston with friends and/or family. We are pleased with property, rooms, and location. The breakfast is the least of the facility, very basic and limited.

As stated above the only thing that was lacking was the breakfast. We watched guests carting off plates full of mini muffins mini cinnamon rolls and apples. Again, breakfast is very limited fruit is apples only. Hot items limited to a waffle. Not even a bagel with cream cheese. And the mini items just means people have to take more of them.
