Mr. Frank Lacson and his team (Ms. Teresa, Niño, Jomar, Julio…) were perfect hosts and we spent some lovely 2 1/2 days in Papagayo. Their beach front is so clean and the whole resort feels like home. Frank has an interesting sporty history, let him tell you about it!! My mom and uncle were supposed to join us on this short trip but he unfortunately had to be hospitalized the day before we left. Even though their room was non refundable we still received a voucher! My mom and uncle are already planning the use of it 😊. Thank you Frank for having us meet you and your family too!! Beachfront, has a restaurant available for your convenience, accessible to commute and provided easy instruction on how to get there. If you like going to bars at night, there are plenty around the area. Ambiance of the hotel is fit for couples, since the setup is romantic.

Beach is not that clean. Mostly bars around the area, so limited choice/places to have breakfast unless you opt their restaurant. Also, their restaurant is kind of expensive. Staff are not so friendly.

Nice hotel with a great price and onsite parking. Rooms are good, beds are comfortable and bathroom is clean and functional. Airco is cold although a little loud but at least the bed is not in the airstream. Personnel is friendly and breakfast was tasty. Location is excellent, parking is available on site and right on the beach.

Lighting in the room was very dim and only two towels are provided, airco is little on the noisy side.

Has a beautiful beach facing garden, unique design & architecture, stands out from the rest. Has a simple & traditional style that feels cosy & homely. All staff were very nice & welcoming, great service. Food was also very very good. In my opinion, this is by far the best resort in the area. Had a wonderful time staying here, and will love to come again.

This is the third time that we stayed here and each time we have been extremely happy. The property has prime beachfront. The grounds are beautiful and relaxing. The staff are so friendly and accommodating and the menu is varied and incredibly delicious. They really go above and beyond to make their guests feel comfortable and well taken care of.

Friendly and helpful staff and property nicely kept up - quiet location

I was not honored with my senior citizen discount, which I received everywhere else outside but not at their own restaurant facilities. It did help going out and find new places

The fact that they have a quality mexican restaurant on site is just a bonus. Walk through the resort to the beach, come back and relax. All very nice. Also quallity restaurants like Johns Sushi steakhouse just down the road, if you feel like you want a change from the Mexican food after a few days.

We stayed there twice, and found that some rooms are better than others, I preferred the ones upstairs.

Relaxing vibe ,quiet place. Nice beach view. Very acommodating ,friendly staffs. Thank you all for making our stay memorabele sure we will come back again.

Ambiance was great…relaxing and very family oriented. Nice beach and outdoor eating area. Staff was friendly and very responsive. Very clean grounds and excellent house cleaning, grounds, security and dining staff. Overall, excellent staff.

Corkage fee for outside food and drinks was very non-family friendly foe people traveling with small children who are always hungry and thirsty. Corkage fee required is to eat at the hotel restaurant (a little pricy) or dine out at area restaurants when the kids wanted typical kids food (fast food). It was really inconvenient…especially when weather was bad or on an extended visit.
