The hotel had a nice lobby that you can come and sit and do school work as I attend online classes. Very peaceful and quiet, had a nice outdoor pool that my kids and grand kids enjoyed immensely. Front desk personnel was exceptional and very helpful and I will be booking future summer outings with you all.

The only thing that was a tad bothersome but didn’t bother me was I heard others complain of a smell that was coming from the laundry facility for the actual hotel bedding and towels was located on the first floor and the whole time there was a wet smell consistently coming from there and you can smell it from the lobby area and the 1st floor hallways Maybe you guys can close the doors and that can help the smell. It didn’t bother me or my family one bit but I heard others complain guests complaining about it

The hotel is very well managed. The rooms are comfortable with amazing beds and very spacious. It was cleaned and serviced daily with high quality toiletries included. The staff was very friendly and I found them to be very accommodating with early checkin for only 30 dollars. They offer a decent breakfast too and there are restaurants around. It is about 20 minutes drive to St Louis downtown. It’s great value for money and you have everything you need there! We will be staying there again when visiting family in Collinsville.

Coffee could be stronger and the air-con in the room was very cold and I didn’t see a way to regulate it. Other than that, really nothing to complain about.

Very comfortable beds, friendly staff, they had an excellent breakfast selection ( four different juices to choose), pancake and waffle maker, a choice of regular scrambled eggs or cheese eggs. Both white and wheat for bread options and both link and Patty sausages. Finally they had oatmeal, tea and coffee (24/7 for the coffee). They had a huge television/satellite channel selection. They are conveniently located directly across from the Gateway Center, the bus stop is right by the property and for a dollar you can get to several different stores and restaurants in Collinsville furthermore they have two restaurants in walking distance to the hotel and two fast joints for quick burgers and fries. While we stayed there we also got a pizza delivered in less than 25 minutes. They provide a refrigerator and microwave (both top tier) in the room.

The only thing I didn't like was the fact I had to leave.

We stayed for two nights. I did not expect too much since this is not a five-star hotel. However, I was happy that the room was clean and tidy. The elevator is outdated, but it works. The dining area is small, but it’s okay. The breakfast options included pancakes, waffles, sausages, scrambled eggs, muffins, bread, cereal, juice, yogurt, and coffee. I would like to mention that the hotel is conveniently located near Walmart and several fast-food restaurants. Also, the staff were all nice and kind, which made our stay even more pleasant. It was our first time booking La Quinta in St. Louis, and I am a satisfied customer. Thank you!

Breakfast was better than I expected for continental. Room had a few issues which I reported to the clerk on duty at checkout. Issues were a sink stopper that did not work properly, no bath mat in a tub that was very slippery and a desk chair that appeared to be broken. The clerk made no notes as I discussed this with him and I wondered if there has been any follow thru. We stayed in room 132. Attention to little details can make a good room into an exceptional one. I loved the location. There's walmart starbucks Dollar Tree and some good food spots within 5 minutes of the hotel. Took us 16 minutes to drive to the arch. Felt very safe travelling with my daughter. The room was clean, had lots of towels and the bed was very comfortable. The ice makers worked, which is not always the case at hotels! I will be back! The fridge was perfect. The breakfast had good options, including omelets, sausage, waffles, oatmeal, etc.. Overall, very pleased!

Nothing bad to report!

This property is across the street from the Convention Center, which was the principal reason for my choice. The room was clean and serviced daily, which is better than many other two star accommodations. Bathroom was functional and had a full set of towels which were changed daily. Refrigerator was on and kept a couple of beers cold. I wouldn't recommend it for perishable items.

Breakfast was OK. Sausage was good, scrambled eggs and omelettes had cooled off too much and were not very appetizing. Several other options were available. My son and I had a room with two queens. There was one desk chair and one lounge chair. The latter could not be positioned under a reading lamp.

Very large room, comfortable bed, easy check-in, fast elevator, reasonable price. Walk-in shower had good pressure, lots of hot water, a free-flowing drain and dispensers with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Rita and Monica at the front desk were both very welcoming and helpful.

Limited vanity space around the sink. Despite this minor inconvenience, we enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property to other travelers.

This is my wife and I second time at this hotel and what is so memorable is the music in the lobby, the immediate smiles and professionalism of all staffing. The clean lobby and vibrant colors. We love that coffee is readily available throughout the day. Lastly the apothecary is so well stocked that if we do need to purchase a snack, soda, or OTC med they have them available.

I would like a bath tub but it isn't a deal breaking issue.

Room was clean & comfortable. Breakfast was good however, the area where you prepare your breakfast got crowded. it would also be a plus if you would mark the egg products. It is a pet friendly hotel so be prepared to be awaken by barking dogs.

The shower setup was difficult to use due to the fact only one door slides causing you to step in the shower to turn on the water which results in a blast of cold water to start your shower
