I chose Crafa Harbour Hotel for a two-night stay as an alternative to the big chain hotels that I’m more accustomed to. I found them on Booking(.com) and made my decision after scrutinising the photos and reviews. In terms of location, you’re in the heart of bustling Causeway Bay and Wanchai. Take the A11 bus from the airport and alight at Wanchai Fire Station on Hennessy Road, the hotel is a 10-min walk away. To go back to the airport, step out of the hotel, turn right and walk 100-metres down Gloucester Road to the A11 bus stop. I would consider Crafa to be a 3* hotel with a 5* view. There are only three rooms on each floor, and all have a view of Victoria Harbour, which is the biggest selling point of this hotel. I booked a Premier Queen room which has the largest window and hence the best view. Here are all the positives: ample light-flow from the big full window made the room feel more spacious than it is, the room and bedding were clean, room temperature control was good, there was a rain-showerhead and water pressure was consistently strong, they provided two bottles of drinking water daily, and there were many charging points at the desk and bedside.

But it is rightly a 3* hotel for the following reasons: there are no facilities here - no restaurant or bar, no gym or pool. There is only one person managing the front desk at any time. And as many reviewers have pointed out, the furniture is quite old, and housekeeping carts were permanently parked outside my room. I would like to commend Amy, who checked me in and out; she is warm and friendly, and effectively trilingual: her English and Mandarin are on point. Finally, would I stay here again?

The biggest selling point of this hotel is the amazing view of the Tsim Sha Tsui. The rest of the facilities and services are just average, not outstanding or bad.

Central location and close to public transport, restaurants and shopping centres. My room was exceptionally large with sweeping waterfront view, decent size bathroom and a very comfy queen size bed.

After arriving at the hotel, I then checked the reviews on google which were pretty harsh. I then had doubts about booking the hotel, only to find out my room was decent (for an older hotel) and service was standard.

The view from the room was incredible. We were on the 20th floor and had views right around the harbour. Well located for Star Ferry, metro, and bus links. There are plenty of good food restaurants around. Good value for the world-class view and location. Very comfortable and nice bathroom. Can recommend this place.

Check out was very perfunctory. We barely had a grunt from the night watchman when we handed our keys back. Day staff and security staff were very pleasant.

The location is great, facing the sea so the view is soothing, a long skywalk is just a few steps away from the building leads all the way to the subway station. So the transportation is convenient, only one stop away from the central transit station, the Admiralty. Also there are dozens of streets nearby filled with good restaurants, convenient stores, bars and such. Staff is wonderful, polite and considerate, quick response to my requests. With a unexpectedly decent price consider the location, the hotel was a wonderful choice for me.

The only thing, if I have to be picky, is that there is no small safe in the room.

Stunning view - main reason I booked the hotel. Room is a good size for 2 people (when comparing to other hotels in the city). Location is good. Within short walking distance from the Island Line (CWB) and East Rail Line (Exhibition Centre). Great water pressure in shower. Comfortable and meets basic standards of cleanliness.

Room smelled a bit musty. Linens and towels need replacing. But, overall, a comfortable stay.

We loved the fact we were on the 22nd floor with fantastic views over the harbour. The room was not luxurious but the shower was amazing and the view made up for everything. The building was very narrow so there were only 3 rooms on each floor. The reception was on the 3rd floor and the staff were very helpful. The location was great, plenty of restaurants and bars plus the ferry to the mainland was only a short walk away.

No facilities outside the room.

The hotel is actually quite convenient. • Just a 10 min stroll to Times Square, World Trade Center. • Bus A11, straight to HK International Airport. • Harbour view gives u unobstructed view of the New Year fireworks. • just across the street will have quite a number of HK Local Cafe. • Walking distance to Causeway Bay Exit B.

Will appreciate if they can vacuum the floor daily during. Other than that, not much of a hassle.

Such a beautiful hotel with great views. The room was clean and tidy with all amenities and toiletries available. The hotel is also located in close proximity to transportation modes. I would definitely be staying here again in future and will recommend this hotel.

Fantastic Victoria Harbour view from the huge windows. Pleasant surprise to have witnessed the colourful harbour fire works display upon checking in on 15th July. Encountered the T8 typhoon warning on the 3rd day and thanks to the nice view, partly alleviated our mood staying in the room. Many good food within 10 minutes walk from the hotel. Staff were friendly too.

Not much for the price.
