1. The grounds of this hotel were expansive & exceptional. You could see that the groundskeeping was a labour of love for Kadek, the gardener. There were so many thoughtful details and he was always happy to explain his process. 2. Great value 3. Good breakfast of 3 options included, with ability to add on, if desired, at very, very good $$ 4. Pool area peaceful & lovely, always loungers w table/umbrella stands available 5. Location steps from beach, many dining options steps from entrance, a covenience store 5 minute walk from hotel 6. Standard Double w Terrace room was very large, w small dinette 2 large floor to ceiling windows, high ceiling, big terrace.

1. No television in rooms. 2 No complimentary "starter" bottles of water provided first day. Had to go purchase all drinking water. 3. No toiletries, except toilet paper and bar of soap. 4. No pool towels, however room towels replaced each day.

I had a really nice large room on first floor with a fantastic sized balcony with comfy seating. Hot water in shower and basin and the rooms was cleaned every day. Breakfast was great. I was able to have hot lemon rather than tea or coffee, which was served with a good sized fruit salad and a delicious banana pancake. There was also a very nice swimming pool surrounded by interesting plants and plenty of greenery. it was very central for the beach and main areas. Also very close for lovely walks up into the hills where fantastic views looking down to the coast. Very nice interacting with loclas who I met on the way. In fact when caught in torrential rin one day a young family beckoned for me to shelter under their large lean to. Next they were bringing me coffee and then a simple meal with rice and lovely runny yoked egg on top. Best i have had in Bali, as other times egg yokes are always fried hard. I actually stayed an extra night in this room. I also had three nights in a more basic room.prior to the Booking.com booking, as came straight here after walking out of a very run down place, with unmaintained swimming pool. This was definitley like a breath of fresh air, as the gardens were so lovely and very pleasant to look out onto. All the staff were also extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. Would defiitely stay here again.

Bees and flies at breakfast a little irritating. Other than that all good.

I've stayed at Rinis a lot over the years, and it's my go-to accommodation in Lovina. The location is great and the rooms are large. Plus, there's a large balcony, too. We just had the fan room, which was fine, and we appreciated having a fridge. The breakfast is decent as well, and I love the pool. Great value.

Like a lot of places in Bali maintenance is lacking. We didn't have hot water in the shower for a couple of days as it ran out of gas, and the tap was coming off the wall. We should have mentioned it earlier as soon as we mentioned it, they addressed it.

The location at two steps of the center of Lovina beach, is excellent and very convenient. Plenty of warungs and other services around (notably very interesting excursions in the region). The hotel is obviously quite old, but in an acceptable status of maintenance, the garden is large and pleasant, although not exceptional. The rooms are very spacious, and the balconies as well. Breakfast is acceptable, although bees in the rainy season are very disturbing. Altogether, in view of the low price and location, an excellent value for money

I stayed here with my 2 kids and we loved it! The rooms are spacious and comfortable with a fridge and good air conditioning. Both grounds and rooms are very well kept and the staff are just lovely. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for lunch and dinner during our stay (for the whole down season I think) but still provided a plentiful breakfast. If you get breakfast included in your stay it is pancakes, nasi goreng or toast, fruit salad and tea or coffee. The hotel is 2 minutes walk from the beach and there are tons of eating and shopping options around. There is also a small local fruit and veg market 10min walk away which is great to stock up on tropical fruits.

My only feedback is that it would be much better if smoking wasn't allowed in the restaurant or at least kept to one area so that kids and non smokers could eat without smoke.

Great location right by the beach. Really nice holiday atmosphere, big old resort but really quiet. Loved their pool. The two receptionists (older lady and older man) are so sweet and friendly ! I’ll come back !

Your restaurant staffs, the two young girls, were pretty rude during the service… they need to get some hospitality skills. Bathrooms need to be refreshed or with better maintenance, they start looking a bit dirty… and Please get new linens ! Yours are clean but so old school 😂

We had a room with balcony and a double and single bed. Most comfortable beds we've had in almost a month in Indonesia. The room was huge, so was the bathroom and balcony. Toilet paper and towels were provided and the shower was nice and hot. The pool was fantastic with sun lounges to chill out on. Plenty of restaurants just outside the gate. The Mie goreng at the hotel was really nice. Breakfast was nice, too and the staff was kind enough to cook omelette for us as we don't like banana pancakes or Nasi goreng for breakfast. There is also a book exchange in the pool area.

A bit too much commotion around the pool for us with kids running around and jumping in the water for hours but that's not the hotels fault. The resident dog should learn not.to bark at hotel guests ..

The hotel brings you back in time ! If you want to experience real Bali 15 years ago - that’s the place , spacious rooms, clean territory , minimum plastic waste, very well built and maintained!

A bit noisy because they have ventilation in the rooms like before , without AC so it’s not total wall , I like it but you can still hear the noises sometimes, and WiFi is not too strong for a call for example but again , for me it was not a big problem

It was like traveling back in time to the 80s early 90s era, the typical Balinese hotel at that time. Check in was relatively easy. The pool, restaurant and garden area were well kept and maintained. The hotel was quiet and fairly easy to find cafes and restaurants nearby. The room, although was outdated, was rather spacious and plenty of seating. Each room has a balcony. It reminded us of Sanur, that is the vibe and sensation we got from Lovina, very laid back and traffic wasn't as crazy as other parts of Bali. We truly enjoyed our stay at Rini and will recommend this place to friends and family.

Absolutely lovely garden, quiet, beautiful, spacious, very nice pool and the restaurant fits nicely into the environment.

I liked everything and I warmly recommend everyone to stay here. The staff could be a little bit more engaged and the room a little bit more clean. Despite this I still rate this hotel to best among the 5 hotels I stayed in Bali, due to it's location and the outside environment.
