The location was superb, right in the old town area. Very close to cute souviner stores, resturants, historic sites. The service was also impeccable. The guys on reception/administration were extremely helpful, polite, kind - particularly Eldar who helped us with suitcases and all requests/questions. The buffet breakfast was nice and the chef brought over to us a lovely traditional dish which was a very nice surprise.

The googlemaps location wasnt correct so we spent some time searching for it. The hotel is located in a little alleyway straight past the roundabout type circle after the entry gates into the area.

Location excellent in the heart of Old City, but in quite corner. Superb breakfast and staff available 24hr (speaking English and Russian). Clean rooms and bathroom. Hotel Manager Vusal - very helpful and taking personal care of the guests and special request.

The shifting staff at the reception were all polite, kind, and helpful. The room we had was clean, especially the washroom. The hotel was nice with an open area for eating. Breakfast was good as well as the Lady who's cooking was very nice. Location wise good, near Nizami Street.

Breakfast has limited options, but tastewise good. Overall experience for me was very good.

The Pera Hotel is a terrific small hotel in a great location in the old city. The room was quiet, comfortable and spacious, The staff on the front desk were very helpful and went out of their way to make the stay pleasant. Communication was excellent The lady in the breakfast room was wonderful. The location of the hotel was perfect as it was a short distance to all the major sights in the Old City but also less than 50m from the main gate. I arranged a transfer from the airport through the hotel and I'm glad I did, as the a staff member met the taxi and carried my bag the short distance. As the hotel is located up a small laneway it would have been hard to find. There was no lift as it's the old city but that was not really an issue as there were only a couple of floors.

The bathroom was a bit dated and there was an issue with the hot water, but it was fixed promptly.

We had a wonderful stay at Pera Hotel Baku! The true highlight was the exceptional hospitality and service-minded attitude of the staff—they were incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Their warm welcome really made us feel at home - Thank you Amin and staff! The location is fantastic—right in the heart of the city, with easy access to major sights, Caspian sea shoreline and restaurants. Our room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, offering everything we needed for a comfortable stay. All in all, a great experience—we’d happily stay here again!

We stayed in one of the budget rooms, which is located next to the reception. While some might find that worth noting, it wasn’t an issue for us at all.
