Loved the rooms and parking next to rooms. Beautiful breakfast boxes packed for us every morning as we had very early commitments and Lovely room service.

Fly issue in the room. Coffee machine didn’t work.

This place was absolutely beautiful! A huge thank you to Innocent and Prince for the incredibly delicious and flavorful vegan meals. I highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for amazing vegan cuisine. I loved every moment here—such a wonderful place to stay and unwind!

1. No games room 2. Capets was smelling in the room. Sofa was old and smelling . 3.Lastly, I didn’t appreciate that after we had checked in and settled, the cleaner entered our room while we were at the pool just to leave chocolates. If room service isn’t being done, it’s not appropriate to enter the room once guests have settled—unless it’s for a necessary check-in. It felt intrusive and a bit rude.

The location, the stuff welcoming 🙏, the atmosphere was superb 👌. Love the rooms and the security top notch. The breakfast was delicious 😋 great to start the day. The pool are was great 👍.

The TV channels only Openview plays on the TV no dstv channels.

I am inviting all travelers to go to your hotel that is how happy I was there . The staff well training very professional - the linen very clean and high quality , dinner was very delicious - I sincerely appreciated the way the staff handles my request to extend my stay- day two was very pleasant - the pool environment was breathtaking - my favorite was our second room the JACUZI Lol 100% for that. the gentlemen who help us with our bags Lol he literally sold and marketed the hotel all in 1 sentence hens we extended our stay hahaha. we are definitely coming back peaceful , beautiful place indeed.

Well 1 bird decided to get inside our roof and disturb our peace Lol literally hahaha , hens we changed the room - that is nature for you. Outside of that we really enjoyed ourselves.

Blades has an authentic African feel without the usual cliches. It is only a short drive from Pretoria and near the Roodeplaat dam. The ambience is excellent, and the service is even better. The staff is super helpful and friendly. Our steak and fillet dinner was terrific and well-presented. Our stay at Blades was the highlight of our trip to South Africa.

The bathrooms did not smell fresh, probably due to it being a septic system, but the reception addressed our issue promptly and in a friendly manner.

The rooms were exactly as shown on the website, clean and comfortable. We had a spectacular view of the dam from our balcony. Staff was friendly and welcoming, security lady greeted us with a warm smile and directed us where to go. Restaurant staff was also amazingly attentive especially about bringing our dinner order to our room. I would definitely visit the hotel again , it was a five star experience

Although the room had a no smoking sign on the wall, the previous occupants must have smoked in there because there was the smell of smoke lingering in the room which made it a bit stuffy instead of smelling fresh

The bed was comfortable and room big enough for us

The scenery, the deck, and sounds of birds just makes it so therapeutic. The room was beautiful and spacious with a dam view. The food is good but The blades could do better with the food menu and picnic setup and presentation.

Having to choose on the hot breakfast Between buffet and Omelette, threw me off a bit because i would have loved some of the hot buffet foods and an omelette on the side. so you choose one

Firstly, it was a last minute booking but our room was excellent, beautiful linen, clean bathroom and cabinets. The scenery ,the ambiance.... The receptionist was very helpful. We were warned of the stench coming from the dam.im advance and they don't control over it. My husband and I had a beautiful stay and we are definitely going to come back.

The food orders at the restaurant took a bit longer and my order the chicken fillet was too dry.

The location, views of the mountain and dam, the room was nice and comfortable… the food was amazing and breakfast was great.. Staff was friendly and helpful..

On the bookings app the description of my room said there’s a patio but there wasn’t which was disappointing…the following morning I had to take a cold shower because there was no hot water
