We’ve had the pleasure of staying at Menlyn Boutique Hotel a few times now, and each visit has been nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrive, it’s clear that this hotel takes pride in providing top-notch service. The ladies at check-in are always professional, welcoming, and truly make you feel at home. The attention to detail and friendliness extends across the entire staff. From the gatekeeper to the waiters at breakfast, and even the cleaning crew, every person we encountered was incredibly helpful and attentive. It’s the kind of warmth and service that makes you look forward to your next visit. Speaking of breakfast, it was absolutely exceptional! A wide variety of fresh, delicious options that never disappoint. Additionally, the garden is breathtaking. It’s a peaceful, serene space that adds an extra layer of tranquility to our stay. We highly recommend Menlyn Boutique Hotel for anyone looking for a flawless experience. Every time we stay, it feels like a treat, and we can’t wait to return!

What I like about the Hotel, it is located in a very quiet area, where you cannot hear a noise of the car hoot, it is closed to Menlyn Square Shopping Mall. The personal service from the hotel staff was amazing from the security gate to the reception and the staff from the both restaurants Pizza shop and the main restaurant to the cleaners, it was amazing to see people displaying a top notch client service effortlessly, their killer scrumptious cold breakfast buffet 👌👌and their Omelet 😋😋.... Our waiters, Tshepo the new Trainee and another guy with dreads unfortunately I forgot his name were amazing . I am from KZN, However if I am in Pretoria again I will definitely go back to Menlyn Boutique Hotel, my wife Love it ❤️

Exquisitely & elegantly decorated rooms, very clean, snd very warm, friendly and attentive staff. Has a cool & private gym. Loved the sense of seclusion about this place. Privacy, tranquility & serenity abound. The fireplace was such a lovely treat! Book the honeymoon suite just to experience the opulence and decadence…welcome platter & frills of it all had me on cloud nine, such a welcome respite after the run-hiking adventure at Hennops more advanced route! I absolutely Loved the Houtlander furniture, smart Alexa sound & room aesthetics…glad for soundproof walks. Big ups for supporting local entrepreneurs moving in harmony with nature & biodiversity👌🏾Breakfast was scrumptious, loved that the eggs benedict was just the right size & flavourful. I want to try their sister-hotel(57 or 58 Waterberg) for my next safari trip…mod def choosing the Honeymoon Suite😍

The restaurant closes early and room service gets affected by this, but this changes nothing about my review of this place

You will need to search far for a hotel with better, friendly, polite, Personal Service; they are just in another class. The rustic ambience is something I love; this hotel has become my only choice when I stay-over in Pretoria. ***********( I have been coming to Menlyn Botique Hotel for at least two years (if I recall correctly).  It is my home away from home.  It is my default stay, I do not care if it costs more than other places. This Hotel is really special, the people (staff) in particular.  But the rest of the hotel is also so rustic and my "soul" can relax here. It is also clear that they spend money to maintain and improve on an ongoing basis.

Honeymoon suite was very romantic, spacious, flowers, drinks and balcony fantastic. We got extra special treatment and well treated. We loved their breakfast, so delicious and staff was very friendly.

1. The spar is not open on weekends and public holidays. 2. The bar and restaurant closes at 2pm on Sundays and public holidays. I think that’s very bad for 5 star hotel. The pizza place was also closed for weekend and public holiday, so we got most of the food through uber eats orders. Otherwise we enjoyed the place.

Firstly on our arrival , the receptionist was very friendly and very welcoming. My husband and I were very tired but the moment we arrived there , we felt refreshed by the love of the staff. There was this guy called Jafta who was very friendly and helpful. He even extended his generosity by giving us the tour at the hotel. The manager Thuto , was lovely, friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent. The dinner was delicious.we even met the lovely chief of the chef. She is beautiful and friendly also. We really enjoyed our stay and we don't mind going back there again. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and our room was exceptional. Oh the massage ladies were beautiful and friendly and excellent 👌🏻.

We would like the upgrade of the showerhead. I'm a short person so it was a bit of a struggle when I had to climb the bed because it was a bit high for me . Rather than that it was a pleasant weekend.

The staff anticipated my needs and made me feel truly welcomed. The room was beautifully designed, with luxurious touches that created a cozy yet elegant atmosphere. I also loved the attention to detail in every aspect, from the breakfast to the well-curated amenities. The tranquil ambiance provided a perfect retreat, and the location offered easy access to local attractions while still feeling exclusive. I can't wait to return for another relaxing stay.

While my stay was mostly delightful, I found the bed a bit too firm for my liking. A softer mattress or the option of a mattress topper would have made the experience more comfortable. This small adjustment could enhance the overall comfort for guests with different preferences.

Great place with professional staff and we broadly enjoyed our stay. Overall everything was comfortable.

Couple of things: the fan device in the bathroom to expel air was making a loud noise when switched on which was a bit annoying. The other issue which I raised with the staff is, they charge you an extra fee for late check out which they can only push as far as 12pm. I believe if this is gonna be the case, the cut off time should be significantly later than that. 12pm is the standard you get from most hotels without paying a fee.

Central. Upmarket with all amenities at one place.

I was booked at Room 7, on the side of the highway. It was too noisy with traffic through out. For an executive room, that was not good. I’m not sure if you can add a noise cancellation wall or something. Parking is always a nightmare on weekends, consider reserved parking for guests staying over vs people using the restaurant. And the basement parking is too squashed, one day they will be scratched cars down there. It’s stressful parking down the basement and worse coming up with the elevator right up at the restaurant. The drainage system in Rm7 is slow. When you shower, you end up standing in pooled water, that is not nice. From the basin, you hear water down the drains long after you have used them, gurgling down.

Memorable 10 Year Wedding anniversary, Menlyn Boutique was Amazing!!! We Loved the art so unique, the pool felt like a real holiday... Breakfast was picture perfect. To top it all Patricia at the Spa from the first conversation her service was exseptional. One of the best meggages, Patricia Thank you is not enough. We will go out of our way to go back...💫 Thanks a Million!!!
