Exceptional staff/owners at the Innkeepers Place! Warm and welcoming going miles out of their way to accommodate my husband who was cycling through the state. He was treated like a king and decided to stay an additional night (I didn’t think he’d ever leave) he was so grateful to the staff’s hospitality. Beautiful location, great food, history and company. He was spoiled and truly thankful for this fabulous peaceful respite in Stafford Springs. Highly recommend! Thank you for taking care of John!

Nothing. Exceptional experience all around.

My husband and I really enjoyed talking to Danele - she was a great source of information about the area and was very encouraging! Breakfast was delicious (I even asked for seconds - which is something I very rarely do)! My husband and I look forward to visiting Innkeeper's Place again in the near future. :)

The only critique my husband had for the Stafford Suite was that it was a bit damp. That likely had a lot to do with the weather, but he suggested that perhaps a dehumidifier would work well for the suite on damp days/nights. Also, this is just an observation/suggestion. We were VERY happy with the suite and the service.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with our 14 year old Granddaughter, whom we brought to a lacrosse tournament. We wanted her to have a unique experience of staying at a quaint B&B inn rather than a sterile hotel room. We loved our overnight stay at the roomy Garden Studio with our own private entrance. My husband and I had our own private bedroom and our Granddaughter had the big fluffy sofa bed in the living area. We commented that we all slept very well and the beds were very comfortable! The bathroom was quite big and private and offered pretty towels and nice quality foaming hand and bath soaps. We like the wide pine floors and the beamed ceilings! The Inn transported our imagination back to the colonial times. Our Innkeeper/owner, Danele, was so nice and welcoming and next morning cooked us delicious fried eggs and the best tasting bacon and German pancakes with local freshly picked strawberries. We especially enjoyed a wonderful chat with Danele about the local area, where to eat, the local farms, what ponds for swimming. Our Granddaughter thanked us several times saying that she had a great weekend and liked the Inn very much!

Wonderful B&B in northeastern Connecticut. Danele welcomed us to a spacious, spotless suite, with a delicious breakfast of blueberry lemon pancetta pancakes. We were traveling with our high-energy goldendoodle pup, and she loved the large, peaceful yard and playtime with Tabby. Comfortable bed, great bathtub for soaking, and friendly hosts. Great overnight stay - we would be happy to return.

This was a wonderful stay, can't think of anything that was lacking.

The owners were very accommodating. I have allergies and they did everything possible to make sure I was not exposed to allergens. The space was lovely and tastefully decorrated. Breakfast was delicious. The location of the home is rural and beautiful but was easy to reach and close to the venue for a family event. Highly recommended.

Nothing to dislike

I had the pleasure of meeting Grace ( their lovely daughter) and Chris during my stay at the Inn, we had lovely conversations over breakfast. My stay was very pleasant and felt right at home. The room was beautifully decorated and the bed was comfortable.

I didn’t stay longer

I visited Stafford Springs for a field trip held nearby. The area is rural, with beautiful fall colors this time of year. The small town center has interesting architecture and shops. The Inn serves a delicious breakfast and they are happy to answer questions about the area. The Inn itself is an 18th century farmhouse. The accommodations are well appointed with everything you'd expect and more. I ended up visiting alone due to a family illness. I went out for what I expected would be a solitary dinner at a local restaurant but ended up at the bar with the friendly staff and other patrons. Really fun!

Didn't want to leave.

Didn't have the breakfast however the owner was lovely and the home really felt like a home. Highly recommend for anyone wanting an authentic Colonial experience.

Bed was slightly lumpy - I like really firm beds.

Charming bed and breakfast nestled in a peaceful setting. A cozy retreat that was the prefect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort.

This is only my second time staying in a bed and breakfast so I thought it was a great experience all around.

Every aspect! The hosts were warm, witty, available. The rooms were spotless. The furnishings charming and rustic. Great ultra clean appliances. Generous meals. Strong coffee. I guess mainly we will remember our hosts, Chris and Janelle! Ask them about dining at the incomparable Stillwater Grill. We will stay at The Innkeeper’s Place on our way back across the country.
