Only pastries and toast offered at breakfast but the croissants are HUGE as were the coffees and proper fresh orange juice. Quite a walk into the town but doable. Comfy beds and nice rooms. There is a bar downstairs but this was closed the night we stayed so don’t know if it’s good or if it’s noisy. Enough parking outside for motorbikes.

On arrival on 5 motorbikes the shutter on the window of the bar was slammed down and a person appeared at the door to say they were closed. Not a friendly welcome. I said we were staying at the hotel and another door was pointed at. The person who first came to attend then disappeared, another lady appeared who didn’t speak any English but then another lovely lady came and translated.

Although not a modern hotel Tierra de Lobos had everything we needed for our stay. We were greeted by host Victoria who was extremely helpful. Breakfast was simple but adequate, the fresh orange juice was lovely. The hotel is situated within walking distance of the beautiful river. A steep walk up into the town was well worth it as the old town is amazing.

The only thing (and it is only minor) is that the hotel kitchen, bar and reception closes at 17.30 therefore nowhere to get a coffee, drink or food within the hotel.

SPACE: I liked the balcony and that the room was spacious enough. Sometimes rooms are so little that one can’t breath in there, and this one had nice view. I liked the location, and the parking space they have in the front. It was also very quiet, just what I needed in my long journey. 5 mins walking and you find the shops to get what you need. In the winter their restaurant is closed, so think of dinner in the other place or arrive before shops close, (before 9pm )to get some groceries. TEMPERATURE: You can easily regulate temperature in the room, in my case I just switch it off because I like to sleep in cold, and it was possible. PETS: You can travel with your pet, they allow it, but I must say it was very very clean and you won’t find a dust there nor animal hair if someone would be worried about cleanliness. BED: comfortable and not making any noise, mattress decently firm. BREAKFAST: The staff very friendly and very tasty coffee and fresh orange juice in the morning. I personally do not eat bread nor bolleria and this is what you ll find there as a tipical Spanish breakfast. So the non gluten or keto people prepare yourselves.

The bulb near bed didn’t work and I think it’s far too expensive.

The staff were very kind and helpful even though they didn't speak English and we didn't speak Spanish we managed to communicate with their kindness. It was super hot when we stayed so the fans and windows were so helpful to keep us cool.

Breakfast was a bit sparse. No protein just mostly bread.

Excellent breakfast and the biggest cup of coffee I have ever had. We also had the best steak we’ve had for a long time. Room adequate and very friendly staff. Excellent location, short walk into the town, which is beautiful. The building beautifully restored. Picture perfect.

we have stayed here before on our motorcycle tour of Spain, the hotel is fantastic rooms secure and comfortable, and clean there is parking on the road outside the hotel, or there's is an area at the back to park, we were looking forward to having a meal in the restaurant, the food is fantastic, unfortunately we arrived on a Sunday, restaurant closed at 5pm, no worries, there is a restaurant down the street, or you can walk into the heart of the village where there are numerous bars /cafes, breakfast is continental and is very good Spanish is spoken at the the hotel, got booked in easily, with the help of google translate, would definitely recommend this hotel, will stay again if in the area

Room had a vibro massage chair and spa bath. Extremely clean and everything worked properly. Interesting decor. Parking out front for 10 bikes. Breakfast was plentiful and good.

Restaurant was closed when we were there, so we used the restaurant down the road.

Very comfortable room. Hotel is well located. Breakfast was good. And the on-site restaurant for lunch was excellent.
