I was happy with my stay here, the accomodation was pretty easy to find and had really good and secure parking for my motorbike in a private secure area just a short walk from the hotel. The hotel doesnt have a bar but there is a decent bar/cafe litterally just around the corner and which is really convenient. Additionally it's not long a walk into the 'old town' probably about 23 minutes or so and there are are a number of bars/restuarants there. There was a fridge in the room with water, drinks etc at reasonable prices. There are also shops/supermarkets near by in both left and right directions on the main road when leaving the hotel. Breakfast was good and probably better than I had expected - the man at reception was helpful at all times and I would be happy to stay here again for an overnight stay if passing through the area

Nothing really - it was all good and up to my expectations. I was particullarly pleased with the secure parking for my motorbike in the secure covered area.

Hotel is near IPB Institute politehnic Braganza. Almost for 15 minutes are at IPB, 25 minutes for centar of Braganza. Hotel is small but very clear and with very good breakfast. Owners brother and sister are very familiar. All workers are very nice and hospitality is on the first. See you again.

Wow, what a find! Beautifully appointed room, lovely staff and a special mention of the amazing breakfast. We couldn't believe the choice for such a fair price. Free off street parking was a bonus. We did drive into the old town as it is a bit of a walk but you could do it, lovely area to walk around with heaps of restaurants and bars. Laundromat just around the corner in case that's important to you (we needed it!)

Lovely place, very comfortable room with coffee and tea facilities and even dressing gowns. It's about 25 mins walk to the old town of Bragança and there are several restaurants nearby. Friendly and helpful staff. Extensive continental breakfast.

Location is too far from town centre to walk and not a pleasant walk at that. We took a taxi for 5 euros.

After reading the other reviews, I can confirm that it is all true! Room was great, bathroom was fab, bed was excellent and I had 2 great nights' sleep! The staff were really nice and attentive, especially the young woman who was in the breakfast room... and breakfast was amazing; really complete with sweet and savoury options and lots of them!!

there was nothing I didn't like but it was a good 15 minutes walk from the centre to the hotel ( but very pleasant and what I expected) so if that is not for you I suggest you choose somewhere nearer.

My husband and I would like to thank hotel Santa Apolonia so very much for all their help with arranging two taxis to take us and our bicycles to Rabano de Aliste, Spain, 50k away, to enable us to continue our trip. Thank you once again. Wendy and Rob Dixon

Our room was a great size and facing back of property so was quiet as well.Good shower with hot water .Check in was good and the receptionist was a lovely man who was cheerful and helpful . We could walk into the centre of the town and we did that and walked to the castelo ( castle ) as well .Parking was a great bonus as well .

We had no issues at all but just a little advice for anyone driving by car as we missed entrance first time round .As soon as you see the hotel sign you turn right up a small lane and the undercovered parking is on the right hand side about 50 meters up .

Rooms small but very clean, comfortable and quiet. New looking bathroom. Typical but very good breakfast in pleasant dining room. Exceptionally friendly staff. Perfect location for events at the Instituto Polytecnico.
