The staff were great, even though I had to make two bookings for two separate nights they worked around it, and brought me a luggage cart at checkout for all my shopping! The courtyard with pool, hot tub, and restaurant was as always a great place to be. Thank you and I will be back to this hotel! — but not through Booking.com as the booking I made with another property via them this month was a nightmare!

The bed was too firm, but I am told that other rooms have different types of mattresses so hopefully some of the others are more comfy! Booking.com did not allow me to review the other location. The hotel had horrible customer service and they didn’t want me to cancel using Booking.com’s partial refund policy so they locked my booking and prevented me being able to cancel, and so I had to endure early morning text messages from them. Why Booking.com can’t override bookings from being locked I don’t understand.

The location was excellent, the staff were very polite and helpful nothing was to much trouble for them, the rooms were spacious, clean and in great condition, the hotel itself is bright and airy tastefully decorated throughout, there is a large bar that does food and the staff are welcoming, there is a swimming pool and a jacuzzi with towels supplied, the parking was easy as they have a large area, all amenities are in walking distance, including the Shopping Center (Mall). My wife and I could not find anything wrong with the lodge if we tried..excellent all round

There was nothing to dislike

Safe A safe clean place to stay. There were a couple of downsides. It's quite expensive. And I ordered avocado toast for breakfast. The only piece of toast was barely toasted, and the avocado was totally brown and there was not very much of it. It was topped with spiral cucumber and arugula. The presentation was beautiful however the cucumber made the bread soggy. Between the brown avocado and the soggy bread I couldn't eat it. Most meals there are really good so I was shocked. I sent back and it came out the same way. I would never order avocado toast there again. They need to go see how other places do it.

Loved the indoor pool & plants! The bar was closed down in the atrium, but we went to the attached bar which had magnificent food & good service. We had an indoor patio which was so soothing with the plant smells and the soft noise from the pool. We didn't spend much time in Vernon, but the location seemed decent. And it was easy to find and leave the next morning. Staff also let us in early so we didn't have to waste 2 hours waiting for our room, much appreciated!

The breakfast o.k. Nothing special.

The girls baseball team running around and screaming at 10:30 p.m. I had to tell them enough. The pool had loud teens, boys and girls. We never did get in the pool. The chance we had was Sunday and the pool was so murky and had a fine film of what was probably dead skin on top. After a weekend of many people in the pool I suppose it was inevitable but we chose not to enter because of the murky water.

On our room card, it said that we were entitled to 10% off of meals inside the hotel. Of course we never read that before eating in the Pub or breakfast the next morning. I understand that the waitress in the pub would not know we were staying there, but I would have thought the breakfast waiter would have asked "are we staying at the hotel for the discount" This is a very minor issiue as the waiter at breakfast was great when serving us.

The pool and indoor river was lovely.

There were clearly some renovations going on, so had some difficult surfaces to walk over near the entrance and elevator. I also didn’t love that the front doors were locked and the desk left unattended from 11pm - 7am. I had to call someone to find out how to grab my DoorDash order, but had I gone outside I’m not confident that I would have been able to get back in.

The Pool, the friendliness and hefulness of the staff, the location - within easy walking distance of Vernon town centre.

Steps to access our room. That required long detour to avoid steps. There were not many steps but still awkward foe elderly or disabled like us, and for strollers, etc, especially if carrying bags.

The hotel was pet friendly which can be hard to find. The hotel looked newly renovated on the inside and the staff was wonderful. To our surprise, there was a very unique resort/atrium style restaurant in the pool area. The food was WONDERFUL as was our server. The food was very high quality fine dining which was unexpected. I would go back just to eat! The beds were clean and cozy and the rooms very large. Overall, wonderful stay.

The location is very convenient. We enjoyed a room backing on to the pool area which has a beautiful river-like body of water beside the pool. There are also beautiful trees in this pool area which doubles as an atrium. The staff is so friendly. The hotel is clean and comfortable. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner at the Cabana restaurant in the hotel. They have great food and service.

Our stay was great. I can't think of anything.
