Reception staff were helpful, and the room had good facilities for self-catering. Good location.

The internet was poor, so we had to wait for most of the guests to leave before we could access the web. Very small bathroom with a very silly shower - the water went everywhere, no matter how careful you tried to be. Breakfast was okay if you weren't very hungry. Steep stairs; (we had heavy luggage).

This hotel is a little gem. It's not our usual type of hotel, but it turned out to be really good. The staff were super friendly. The rooms are thoroughly well equipped. The location for the old town was perfect. Literally 10 minutes walk into the town. Also, great, secure parking. Although a charge is made for each night's stay. But it is well worth it.

My one and only negative would be the lack of an elevator. The stairs are quite steep, and they make carrying luggage up and down quite tricky. But that's all.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. I especially liked the location. It is on the GR65 . Walking distance to hiking shop and restaurants. Breakfast was optional. I would stay here again.

Negative -The floor of the room is concrete which seemed a little cold and there wasn't a heater in my room but I consider these minor inconveniences. The bed was comfortable and plenty of blankets.

Inconsiderate noisy guests who dat outside my window talking loudly and letting their dog bark until 12.30pm until I asked them politely yo be quiet. I had yo get up at 5pm to catch the train.

Awkward physical arrangement of rooms, stairs, and access. No working cooling or ventilation other than open window.

Interesting to see that after five years the intentionally well designed place is running down rapidly.
