For us the location of the hotel was perfect for walks and exploring the surrounding area. Our host was very welcoming and looked after us very well. Other staff was also friendly and polite. Hotel was lovely and we liked the comfortable sitting area with fire and lots of books and games. Our room was good size and had a little terrace looking over garden and onwards to fields. Hotel has a pool which was well maintained but we did not try it as it was still very cold. We had our breakfast in the hotel and it was worth it for a good start for the day. The honesty bar system was also good and convenient way to get that late drink or snack. Well worth of attending were the hotel dinners by visiting chef, which I think is a new thing for the hotel. The two 4 course dinners we enjoyed during our stay were excellent. The cooking was really high standard and all the dishes we had tasted wonderful. Food was made using local products which was a plus for us.

Beautiful place, so many lovely aspects to our stay. Friendly staff, great breakfast. Pool looked splendid but it was sadly too cold to swim. Will have to go back in the summer. Lots of places to sit in the gardens. Large cosy sitting room with log fire. Lovely atmosphere with Honesty bar and food counter. We felt too tired to drive to a restaurant last night so tried the various dishes that you could microwave and eat in their pretty dining room, together with a half bottle of cold wine. Thoroughly recommend this charming and peaceful hotel

The whole cortijo was fantastic and fell within my expectations. It was rustic and not overdone meaning the authenticity remained. The rooms were more than comfy with greasy beds and pillows and first class air con. The bathroom was clean with quality products to use. The honesty bar and food worked well. Pool was clean and open 24hrs. The location was just first class amongst the hills and mountains literally 10 mins away by car.

Food options for sale in the honesty food bar need to be more extensive. Microwave meals are not for everyone.

Views and surroundings were beautiful around this property.The Swimming pool was always open and very clean a great space to unwind . Our Room was clean and spacious. Elisenda our host was exceptional and tailored for every need. The cortijo is Central enough to venture out by car and visit areas of beauty and interest. Countryside is endless.

Not many eating facilities nearby but as long as you have a car you can drive to one of the villages or into Ronda.

Beautiful, peaceful and rural. A maze of courtyards and paths, surrounded by countryside. Rooms were exceptionally clean and quiet and the beds were really comfortable. Everyone at Las Piletas really cares that your stay is the best it can be. We were given of tips about places to visit and eat and even the best place to park in Ronda. The children loved the independence of the Honesty Food Corner. The pool is framed by fields and is the perfect setting to relax.

We adored it here and stayed one night longer than planned.

We just loved the Hotel Cortijo Las Piletas. We were greeted when we arrived by one of the owners lovely daughters who took the time to show us around the hotel and its facilities. Such a sweet place that has been very tastefully decorated throughout out with lots of charming features to make it cozy and welcoming. Lovely breakfast courtyard and pool with views over the adjoining rolling farmland. Nice sunrise over the pool in the morning too!

Honestly, there was nothing I didn’t like.

As soon as you arrive, it looks so homely and welcoming, and that was just the communal area, which had settees, board game's and books. The host was very friendly and showed us around and explained things in English. We liked that we had 24hr access to food and drinks, which you take and fill out an honesty note, this gets paid at the end of your stay. The room was amazing, we had a corner room, so had two windows with different amazing views. It also had a full size bath as well as a large walk in shower. The pool (not heated), outdoor areas were all very nice. Would 100% go back.

More a preference than a didn't like, but pool could have been heated slightly, would have used a lot more then.

Central location and very peaceful stay. Lots of things to do in addition to visiting Ronda (they have a great list of restaurants & activities including hiking in a cork forest). Make sure to read their list! I got to meet a number of guests who have stayed there multiple times - I understand why: they treat you like family.

Maybe I slept too long because the room was too comfortable.

This was the highlight of my trip to spain. This place was exactly what I was looking for. Extra quiet and peaceful. I was able to recharge my batteries after a long day of sightseeing. It is extremely well located if you want to visit some pueblos blancos and Ronda. The host was very helpful and accommodating. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was huge. I will definitely come back. The property also happens to be absolutely gorgeous.

Service was friendly and helpful. Lovely grounds with a pool. Room was spacious and clean; bed was very comfortable; roomy bathroom; great a/c; small fridge. After asking if we could move rooms due to a noise issue in the morning, the owner gave us a larger, more comfortable and quiet room. The hotel was stocked with various food/drink items that we could purchase, even hard liquor and wine.

We were 14 km. from Ronda, so it was a bit of a hassle to drive in to the city center but doable since we found a parking lot near attractions. I didn't realize we were going to be quite that far; however, the trade off was being in a more rural tranquil locale.
