Comfortable bed, beautiful camp, great experience, warm water, friendly staff.

Difficult communication (basic English, did not answer the phone, luckily locals helped us), wrong direction in Google maps, Dinner (75 MAD pp, vegetarian) and transport to the camp (200 MAD pp, 4x4, 10 min drive) are obligatory and not included in the price, no romantic flair because different agencies share the same camp, disappointing breakfast, be aware that they try to sell you activities (camel rides, quad tours, Berber camp visit, etc.) because this is what they earn money with, surrounded by other camps.

The stay at the camp was really pleasant (we spent 4 nights) and the tent very comfy and not even very cold, considering how cold the winter desert nights are. Ismail with his team were preparing amazing food and bossman Said took us, at our request, on a very fruitful search for fossils. The camp is on the remote side of the desert, which has its pros and cons. It is quiet with almost no light in the night, and close to the Berber settlements. But getting in and out can be costly.

Same as I read about other camps in the area - I would really appreciate knowing the various expenses ahead of time. The costs are quite reasonable, considering the quality and location, but should be known before making the decision to make a booking. Also the internet didn't work much in later days but I think that was some temporary provider issue. Wifi coverage is good.

Desert Romantic Camp is not only for couples, I booked this camp with a friend (did not see the title of the booking), yet it was not purely based on couples. The camp is inside the Sahara. You get transported from parking in Merzouga to the camp. When arrived at Merzouga, our host Said, welcomed us and waited for us. We took the camelride to the Sahara, very nice experidnce and the camels are taken care of and are well treated. The service we got was outstanding, people were very friendly, very open and eager to help you. We had a very relaxed stay, facitiliets were great. Big room, nice beds and most importantly very hygienic. The food was also great, breakfast included with plenty of options and had good dinner. Definitely recommend the heat up in the sand, you get well accompanied during your whole trip. This just out generosity, very kind people. Definitely recommend this camp as its staff, facilities, food and service are just amazing.

We had an amazing experience. Everything was very well organized and transparent, the camel ride was unbelievable and our guide was amazing. The guys who work at the camp are some of the best people we've met on the trip, you can really tell they are genuinely kindhearted people, very easy to talk to and make you feel like you're at home. Everyone was very welcoming, best people If you're looking for an evening with cute camels, starry night by the bonfire with Berber music, food to die for, great company, and just altogether an unforgettable experience, book with them, you won't be disappointed I'm sure

We spent a lovely and memorable New Year's Eve in the camp with music, fireworks and the beautiful stars. The camp was beautifully appointed and the beds the comfiest of the trip!

The dinner/breakfast food was not very good; however, we understand that options are limited in such a remote location. Also, our toilet kept not flushing and we ran out of tap water. Again, we understand that options are limited in the desert.

Just excellent Trip!! I really enjoyed staying at this desert romantic camp. as solo female traveler in the evening when I arrived to the hotel youssef welcomed me with moroccan mint tea He explained to me more about details of my desert trip, He prepared a friendly camel for me and took it as transportation to the camp In the middle of the Sahara desert stoped to climb a big dune and enjoy the sunset which was just perfect once I arrived the camp the staff gave me warm welcomes again and give me my tent that was well equipped the mattresses are very comfortable!! After my delicious dinner I enjoyed beautiful drums instruments around the fire by the friendly staff. in the morning I had to wake up early to see the magical sunrise which really worth waking early then i had my delicious breakfast and Coming back to the hotel by quad that allows me to try two experience at short time Camel riding &quad bike Once i arrived the hotel I picked up my car which was in a private parking going towards Marrakech taking a memorable experience in my mind that I will never forget Thank you so much youssef everything was more than great !! I recommend them so much they will do their best to see you enjoying your desert vacation

What an amazing experience!! Highly recommend this camp. We enjoy camping in the Sahara Desert and riding camels. We were so fortunate to be hosted by Desert romantic camp who organized this magical experience. We first enjoyed a camel ride along the highest dunes in the Saharan Erg Chebbi desert and witnessed a magnificent sunset. Hassan, our guide to our tent introduced us to a very friendly salamander. Upon arrival to our camp, we had a delicious family meal,presented in a beautifully-decorated dining tent. After dinner, we enjoyed live traditional Berber music and dancing around the campfire. We spent the night under a large comfortable family-sized tent. The stars at night... breath-takingly brilliant! We were woken up early to watch the sunrise over the eastern black mountains of Algeria before sand-boarding, and taking a 4x4-ride over the dunes and out of the desert, and culminating with a traditional Berber breakfast made for us back at the base. The staff made us feel very safe and at homr. Their dog was very friendly & guarded our tent through the night. We're so happy to have done this tour

We had the best trip we book at this place all staff was excellent are very welcoming for us at all anything we want they give us . the camps wonderful is in side dunes so amazing views sunset from panoramic view we love it. having tea after delicious dinner enjoy it .kindly persons making fire we set and they playing some berber traditional music it is beautiful we enjoy the sky full stars is unfortunately .we sleep in worming tents bed .we wake up before sunrise we enjoy it .haven also sandbording on dunes .it was incredible after haven breakfast .took us back to our marking car Absolutely recommend this 'desert romantic camp ' Thank you so much youssef Best regards

Desert Romantic camp is excellent! Above any expectation! We had a big tent like a large room, a very comfortable bed, toilet and a shower. Clean, comfortable, great quality of food in abundance. The staff is very polite and helpful. At night, after dinner, we danced and we played the local instruments. The experience with the camels is unique. You definitely have to live it even if you are not the most adventurous person! We went with the camels and came back with the jeep. I highly recommend this place

verything was absolutely perfect! From camel ride in the dessert to the camp that was even better live than in photos. Tent was super nicely decorated, bed was comfortable and it seemed like you are in hotel. Dinner prepared in the was delicious and one of the best meals we had. Highlight was sky with numerous stars and local music around the fire. The owner went above and beyond to help us with everything and even organised transport for us back to fez. Highly recommended!
