We had a wonderful stay at Desert Villa. Youssef and his family are incredibly hospitable, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. They shared with us their amazing story, and it was truly inspiring. This place is not just a regular hotel or a Riad, but the realization of a dream come true. Every detail of the Desert Villa reflects the passion and dedication they’ve poured into the project, and you can feel it in every corner of the property. The warm welcome and the authentic atmosphere made our experience truly unique and unforgettable. We highly recommend staying here to not only enjoy the beauty of the desert, but also to discover the remarkable story that Youssef and his family have to share. The surrounding landscape is absolutely outstanding.

We had an exceptional stay at the beautiful Dessert Villa hotel. We arrived well before check in time due to early leave from camp site in the dunes. Despite the early hour, we were very welcomed by the owner, were able to check-in in our huge room with 2 sided views on the dunes and we spend the afternoon chilling at the very nice pool. We were very much spoiled by the owner bringing tea, fresh drinks and snacks to the terrasse near the pool. At lunch time we were offerend a free Friday-is-couscous-time lunch and at diner a wonderful and delicious 5 course diner for only 15 euro, which was under priced in our opinion compared to other riads we stayed in. The service in the restaurant was very good as well. When we left the next morning, the owner gave additional tips for our trip the next day. Overall a highly recommended, beautiful place, designed and build by the owner himself. Extremely high quality for the price you pay. We would definitely return here when visiting Merzouga again.

This was without doubt one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. It is very new and immaculate in every way. The hosts, Youssef and Mohamed were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful, as well as Mohcime, their young staff member. If you are staying in Merzouga, don’t bother looking anywhere else, as this property has it all, including a beautiful swimming pool. Five big fat stars.

The pool, the decor, the doors, the art, the fountain, the look and feel welcoming, the staff and owner were friendly and gave great recommendations, breakfast was amazing and would stay at Desert Villa again, and recommend to others. The Best Hotel In town. The next day we did a Desert Camp and Camel ride, the owner is very knowledge able on the area of Merzouga

I really have no words to describe how welcoming and helpful the staff of this villa are! It is one of the reasons we would like to do this trip again. Honestly, everything was perfect. The room is big and spotlessly clean. The food is delicious! The best choice we could have made!

The warm hospitality and attention to detail. Every corner in the villa had a story to tell. Youssef and team are doing an amazing job taking care of every little need of guests. Every room is spotless clean. We had a special lunch specially curated as it was my husband’s birthday. The pool was clean too.

I rarely give top marks for a hotel as there’s always room for improvement but this hotel is as close to perfection as it gets. The two brothers who own and run it are the nicest guys you could hope to meet. Their Berber hospitality is second to none! The hotel is exceptionally clean as are the rooms, which are also well equipped with a large comfy bed with duvet and comfy pillows. I could see the sand dunes from my room. There is a nice dining room and social room. There is also an outside area boasting a pool and seating area. Rooms are air conditioned and have flat screen TV. Try to have dinner in their restaurant as the food is cheap and exceptional, honestly, you’ll struggle to find a better meal in town. Breakfast was also very good.

Youssef and his brother are unparalleled hosts*!! They made our stay incredible with their warm hospitality. They were kind, attentive, and helpful... they made you feel at home. They took care of every detail. We arrived with an upset stomach, and Youssef immediately ordered his mother some herbal tea and dinner, everything delicious and plentiful. Youssef is a clear example of how dreams can come true with effort, hard work, and perseverance. The story he tells of how he managed to build his hotel is overwhelming. The hotel is beautiful, peaceful, and very charming. The rooms are very large, the beds are large, comfortable, and everything is clean. The food is delicious. Above all, the brothers' humanity, generosity, and kindness make this hotel VERY SPECIAL and THE BEST HOTEL IN MERZOUGA BY FAR!

With this hotel you can definitely say that it will 100% improve your stay and will definitely be a big part of your holiday memories.Youssef and Amar are extremely friendly and do everything with heart.The hotel is a beautiful,stylishly decorated riad.The rooms are bright and large with very quiet,nice air conditioning and very comfortable giant beds :) We had a room with a balcony and a view of the dunes which are very close walking distance. The hotel is also equipped with a swimming pool and a roof terrace ,if you like to watch the stars in the evening . Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable , for all the extra things you did for us / and we appreciate it very much ! And last but not least, thank you very much for the very nice surprise with the birthday cake ! If we ever come back we will definitely repeat our stay at Desert Villa :) we wish you all the best, especially lots of satisfied customers, that you still enjoy your work so much and that your other dreams come true like the one with this hotel that you brought to perfection :)

Youssef also kindly took us to watch the sunset in the desert and picked us up afterward, making the experience even more magical. The cuisine here is exceptional — we tried tajine for the first time, and it was simply incredible! Breakfasts are also delightful, especially the local dish similar to shakshuka — absolutely delicious. Our room had breathtaking views of the desert and dunes. The rooms, like the entire hotel, are tastefully decorated with attention to every detail, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is provided, making it feel like a home away from home. Additionally, the internet speed is surprisingly good, allowing you to work seamlessly — something truly remarkable in the middle of the desert!
