The apartment is really big and spacious, it is located near the dunes, maybe 500 meters. You can just easily walk there on foot without paying for any camel trips or quad rides. But if you want to use such services, the owner is happy to arrange it for you. The apartment is clean, there are fresh sheets. The key pickup and drop off is unproblematic.

Not nearly enough dishes and utensils for the number of people that could sleep in this apartment, no bowls, cutlery looking old and very used up. Also, no kettle. If you'd like to cook a proper meal there, it would be hard with the provided utensils, we struggled with instant soup.

The apartment is very clean and spacious and in the centre of Merzouga. We pre-arranged an 4 x 4 desert tour with the host Ahmed which is great to us. Although that day's weather has large desert wind, it let us see the other aspect of Sahara desert. Ahmed done a great job to enhance the area of the desert. We hope we could travel Sahara and see Ahmed again in future. Thank you for Ahmed's hospitality.

The apartment is spacious and there’s a lot of space , it was clean as the bedsheets are clean and Ahmed left us more just in case and that’s rare to find in the country a clean place like this and more in desert area because of the wind and dusty passing. Ahmed helped us to organise a camel ride to the Merzouga dunes to see the sunset which we highly recommend it . Thank you Ahmed you were and your place the best part of our trip

The place is large and spacious, located directly at the base of the dunes. The tile floors were clean. We did a 6-night stay here and it was nice to have a place of our own. The living room is a good place to relax while waiting for the hot midday to pass. The kitchen was adequate for preparing basic meals. The property is located well to stay cool even on a hot day and the gravel road in front reduces the dust. It's only a couple of blocks from the main street where all the stores and restaurants are located. It is very close to the grand taxi drop-off point if coming from Rissani. In the morning (8-ish), you can buy fresh underground-baked traditional Moroccan bread from the store a couple of doors down. Turn left out the door and your nose will find it.

No towels, cleaning supplies, or toilet paper (unless two tiny rolls are enough for your 6-night stay). No fire pit in the back as listed and the terrace on the top floor is only used for storage, and not really conducive for hanging out. But hey, you're in the desert, spend your time out there. Child-protected outlets are so difficult to plug into that they will and did break our converter. The stove requires a lighter, no lighter is provided. Host responds better to WhatsApp than bookingcom messaging.

Once again the location which booking.com show on their website was about half a mile out. Fortunately Ahmed quickly arrived at the police station (booking.coms map position) to escort us to his property.

Great apartment in a great location. Really fantastic value for money. The host is a great person, couldn’t do enough to help and was very responsive on WhatsApp. Highly recommend this place when you find yourself in Merzouga.

Nice big apartment centrally located but all the praise hoes to the owner Ahmed. He was amazingly helpful and just fantastic! I arrived late and hungry and he brought me to a restaurant. He even waited to bring me back. He arranged a great and memorable overnight tour on camels to the desert which was great value. I had hours to hang around because I had to wait for the night bus and Ahmed let me use the apartment for free- he even picked me up and dropped me at the bus station which is a bit out of the centre. I'm so glad I rented the apartment because Ahmed made everything so easy for me. Thank you again Ahmed for being so friendly and helpful.
