Private parking and easily walkable to Honfleur centre. Breakfast was excellent. We had warm croissants, fresh boiled eggs, fresh baguettes, jams, fresh fruit, yogurt, freshly squeezed orange juice, cheeses and slices of fresh home made tartes. Bedroom was very spacious with lovely views. Antoine and his father were very good hosts.
We had the 3rd floor bedroom. While having great views and plenty of space, there are downsides to this room. 51 steps up to the room so you will easily get your fitness steps in each day. Only has a bath tub with shower attachments. Very nice large bathtub though. A blind at the window over the bed would be good as the afternoon and evening sun makes the bed and room quite warm. There is air conditioning but is at the opposite end of the long room.

for French standards the breakfast was very good: 1 egg, bio yoghourt, different coffees, croissants, a little fruit salad, jam
we were surprised by the absence of a separate shower; while the room was spacious and charming under the roof and had an excellent sized duo-bath - it didn't have a shower. It was quite a challenge to try to shower ourselves for 3 nights with the little hand shower used to clean the bath tube :) . also, one has to be fit enough for 3 floors of stairs (we were so for us no problem here). the family is sweet and there is a cute golden retriever walking around.

On a practical level, we enjoyed the great location (a few minutes walk to the historic centre of Honfleur). Also, the secure private parking, the characterful and unique building, the friendly welcome of the hosts and so much more. Our suite was on the ground floor with a delightful aspect onto the sunny courtyard garden. The accommodation was spacious and characterful with stylish interiors and hotel quality amenities. We particularly enjoyed the continental breakfast which was delivered to a table in our suite with great care and attention to detail. The food was delicious and a real treat to start the day. We certainly hope to visit again and cannot imagine staying anywhere else in Honfleur now that we have discovered this wonderful ‘maison d’hotes’.
Everything was perfect.

The breakfast was just right. The location was very good. particularly in relation to the centre of Honfluer. The private car parking was a bonus, despite being difficult to access.
Car access to the property was extremely tight and difficult with parking places just outside the main gates. the top floor room was very well appointed but having a bath and not a shower was a disappointment for us. the staircase was also a challenge with luggage, although the owners were very helpful with this.

Excellent location, being just a few minutes walk from the location. Added benefit of being able to park there. Very quirky and rustic. Charming hosts. Suitcases are carried for you owing to difficulty with stairs.
Rooms, although quirky and interesting, lacked cosiness and comfort. Stairs are narrow and steep, making it unsuitable for those with limited mobility. Breakfast was simple and basic, albeit with very good produce. Unfortunately, unable to cater for coeliacs (gluten free). We discovered from fellow residents that many choose to go into town for breakfast, which is close and has lots of choice.

Very warm welcome from the owners. Our ground floor room was fantastic. Very spacious and full of character and history. It was a special place to stay enhanced by the ability to park the car securely and the short walk to Honfleur harbour. Breakfast was served in the kitchen diner which was another amazing space to relax in and enjoy. The breakfast was very good with fresh fruit, yoghurt, cakes and pastries, freshly squeezed orange juice and good coffee. Beautiful garden too. We loved it.

Beautiful building, very spacious room, quiet, secure parking, garden 5 mins relaxed walk to town. Bistro restaurant opens each lunch time on site. Will definitely return. Plus 2 lovely dogs to greet you each morning...tongo the labrador and a new puppy.
An extra pillow would be good, and selection of tea plus milk.( sorry a British thing) We didn't have a change of towels after day 2 of a 3 day stay however thats being ultra particular.

The room was very comfortable and much bigger than expected, having a separate lounge area. Its location was great, just a 5 minute walk from the harbour. Breakfast was served in our lounge rather than in the garden as the weather wasn't great and it was a substantial feast. When trying to find the accommodation, make sure you put the address into the sat nav, not the name, as we initially ended up in the wring part of town.
Parking was a bit difficult trying to manoeuvre the car into a garage whilst avoiding the other parked cars.

Unusual, but beautiful accommodation very close to the centre of Honfleur. Breakfast was great and it was good to have secure, private parking. The bed was super comfortable and the location was very quiet. Our host was charming and happy to answer any questions and offer suggestions of where to eat dinner.
Nothing really, but perhaps offer a choice of items for breakfast. The accommodation was a litte tricky to find, not being obvious from the main road.

Great place to stay in Honfleur. Just outside the central buzz but very, very close and it has parking. Welcoming and friendly hosts who serve up a very pleasant breakfast each morning. Our suite was very roomy and well appointed. Not air conditioned but a cooling fan provided - helpful as we were there when temperature high.
Nothing of note
