The hotel is within walking distance of the main attractions, yet it's located in a quiet and peaceful area. The hotel grounds are beautiful, and the staff is friendly

The rooms and interior spaces are quite worn, with only the bathroom having been renovated. The hotel is pet-friendly, but I’m afraid of large dogs, so I wasn’t too happy to encounter a pit bull and a Doberman without muzzles in the morning. Breakfast was rather average.

Very beautiful property and good location. Loved the croissants with chocolate (one of the best) at the breakfast. High ceilings in the room and beautiful ancient furniture

We went in spring when it suddenly became really cold and the batteries were not working so it was really cold in the night. Also due to some COVID (in 2024) or other guidelines despite the fact that it was a buffet breakfast there was a lady who was deciding what you are getting on the plate. But it was fun, some nonna experience there to some extent. Staff doesn’t speak English or French so had to use the translator. But these are minor issues and the stay (especially for one night) was good

Villa Maria is located adjacent to the main street, within walking distance of the center and beach. A great advantage compared to most properties in San Remo is the private parking right at the villa. The entire ensemble of buildings is old and cozy, with vintage furniture in the lobbies. The house has an elevator. The room was big, with a modern bathroom, working AC, flat TV and fridge (a bit noisy at night). Enough power outlets (as almost everywhere in Italy, consider having at hand an adapter for large plugs! However, the receptionist was so kind to offer me one). The breakfast was included, with nice Italian coffee (Espresso, Cappuccino etc), beverages, eggs, ham, cheese, nice pastry, and fruits, served in the garden. A big thumbs up for the service and staff, very helpful and friendly. Overall, excellent value for the money. We stayed for two nights and were very pleased.

The mattress was a bit too elastic and squeaky.

I really enjoyed stay in Villa Maria, I simply liked it, and would choose it again, because it is stylish and old fasioned, quiet, very clean and centraly located near Russian church. Breakfast was very nice, especialy my favourite desert "torta de la nonna", served in the garden by kind personel.

In my room the wifi connection was very bad, with interruptions.

Everything! You are a few meters from the beach and town. The place is lovevely and seems like your going back in time. On saying that the bedrooms are modern and very clean. Would definitely recommend and would go back.

We appreciate that when COVID hit you had to distance, however they still seem to adopt the same process when at breakfast. A lady ask what you what you want from the contental and plates it up, it's not self service. But please do be put off by this comment it's lovely I'm just being honest.

The man on reception when I checked in that afternoon, was very friendly and welcoming, and you just felt at home, when I checked out of this hotel, the man gave me a beautiful gift from the hotel. It was most kind and most appreciated.

The hotel exceeded my expectations for breakfast good . Everything about this hotel is beautiful.

Very helpful front desk guy when I arrived. Free parking onsite close to hotel entrance. Interesting conversion of two old mansions. Close proximity to waterfront and shops

The cheaper rooms are a bit noisy at times but get quiet between 2200 and 0700h.

The location is very good, the room size is quite good, the staff is very nice and always smiling. The furniture and everything in the hotel takes you back in time but I find it quite charming

The entire feeling of the hotel is quite old, it needs some renovation works

it is a good location within walking distance of most of San remo. the breakfast was excellent and the staff very courteous. There is parking and for us that's important since it was a driving tour of Europe. The room was large and a view.

The elevator didn't good to our floor and we had to go up two flights of stairs.

The cleanliness in every single corner although it is an old property

A minor thing, bidée was surprisingly not clean when we took the room. Breakfast area was neat and adorable only savory options were not many and omelette was served cold.
