This hotel was easy to find and the location was off the main square so it's very quiet. It's a 5 min walk to the main square where everything is located. It was very safe area. The rooms were huge we got a family room which was two rooms with the door unlocked between the rooms.

The only problem in the interconnecting family room is because of this the light in the hallway doesn't switch off so if you have kids you have to close the doors to your rooms which then you need a swipe to open even though it's supposed to be one big room because you can't sleep with the lights on. we have older kids so it was okay but if you have younger kids I know that might be a stress. If there was a light switch in the hall it would have been perfect.

Situated in a quiet street very close to the main square and Menin Gate. The hotel is a lovely traditional looking building but very modern when you go inside. Very large and comfortable bed. Breakfast was ok, nice bread and fresh juice

Although the hotel is mostly modern in the public areas, we were disappointed to find ourselves in a very old fashioned room which was freezing when we arrived but we turned the radiators on and it was warm when we got back in the evening. The shower was lacking in power sadly. Breakfast was ok but the scrambled eggs were somewhat overcooked and the butter was kept too cold to be used when you picked it up from the buffet

The staff are incredibly helpful. We booked a family room (2 adults and a 17 year old) for 1 night. It was very warm weather while we were there, so they upgraded us to a double room and an additional single room next to each other so we'd be more comfortable. Breakfast was great, rooms cool and comfortable. Superb location, less than 5 mins walk to the centre and the Menin Gate. The cherry on top is the fact they have secure parking at the back of the hotel!

Absolutely perfect 👌 Easy to find. Just a 5 minute walk to the Menin Gate and 2 minutes to the centre. Excellent secure parking, especially for motorcycles with no gravel, no slopes and no tight turns. Hotel was very clean and spacious with a bar in, although we did not use this. There is a lift so suitable for less able people (as I myself am). Our room had a shower, and again, this was perfect for us. Our room had a mini fridge as well as a kettle with tea and coffee supplies, always good to have for when you get back to your room. Breakfast was served in the very large and bright breakfast room. Everything is thought of as when the sun started to dazzle, the lovely breakfast lady spotted this straight away and lowered a large electric blind. There was a very large selection: cereals, pastries, cold meats and cheese, fruit, yoghurt, and a hot plate with scrambled egg and bacon. Coffee was from a machine with as many refills as required. You could even have breakfast on the terrace if you wished. All the staff we met were very friendly and welcoming, offering local information and answering any questions. Overall, we really couldn’t fault this lovely hotel and hope to return one day. Excellent value for money, especially considering where it is located. Thank you all for helping to make our visit to Ypres so memorable.

Wonderful spacious hotel with a modern clean and friendly architecture. For the price paid the facilities were exceptional. The hotel car park is a fantastic option if driving and cost very reasonable. Location is central, only a 5 minute walk from the Central Square and 5 to 10 minutes to The Menin Gate. Many bars and restaurants nearby. Staff wonderfully friendly and engaging. Breakfast good value for money too.

I can not fault anything at the hotel.

An absolutely perfect venue, we arrived in motorbikes in 36 degree weather, we were baking, the staff couldn't of been more helpful, letting us park in a safe cool garage overnight. The location is so central, just a short walk to the Mennin Gate. Breakfast was amazing so much choice and everything spotless. The room was lovely, again spotlessly clean. We will definitely be back and we will definitely recommend this to our friends. Thankyou for a lovely stay.

The hotel is well situated exactly where you want it, close to the center, within 5 minutes fo the square and Menin Gate. The staff are absolutely lovely and really take an interest in you, you feel like they care, and you are not just "customer". The hotel and rooms are clean, well appointed and a great place to stay. The breakfast is fantastic. I have stayed here at least 4 times, so they are obviously doing things right.

This is an excellent hotel in an ideal location for the Square and the Menin Gate. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and ideal. Breakfast was extremely good and plentiful. The car parking arrangements are ideal, and very good for access, either through the Menin or Lille Gates.

Nothing to dislike. We were very satisfied with the Albion. We would recommend it to others and would certainly return.

From arriving to leaving the staff were professional, knowledgeable and very pleasant. We have stayed before and this time we had an upgraded room which in the future we will defo opt for. I have traveled for years and have to say the room had the most powerful shower I have ever encountered = FANTASTIC! One other point there is a private bike/motorbike parking garage - something I have not noticed until this visit. I have to mention the private car-park is easy and security barrier controlled.

Bar prices were high - but probably the City's going rates.

This is the 4th time I have stayed here, and on each occasion it has been perfect. The location is spot on for the center of town, or for walks along the river. It's clean, comfortable and the breakfast is great. But, the best thing about the hotel is the staff. They are all so lovely, friendly and helpful. They treat you like they know you as apposed just a customer. Thank you for another great stay.
