Arrived with the family at 10am thinking we would leave bags with the concierge, but they checked us into the room with no issue. A huge relief for my tired kids.

We checked out at 10am and left our bags with the concierge. We came back from shopping and at in the lobby 15 minutes to rest our feet and repack. I was asked twice when we would be leaving. I was clear they did not want kids in the lobby.

The location is unbeatable—right near Central Park, Times Square, and within easy reach of so many iconic landmarks. The staff truly made the experience exceptional with their warmth and attentiveness. The hotel boasts two amazing restaurants, including a famous burger place that’s an absolute must-try. The room was spotless, the service impeccable, and the bed? Oh, the bed was so comfortable that leaving it in the morning was a real struggle—talk about relaxation!

The only downside was that we had an issue with the shower—it was broken when we arrived, and although the engineering team tried to fix it four times, it kept breaking again. Eventually, we gave up and had to manage with a broken shower for three days, which was disappointing.

Beds are amazing and large rooms. Breakfast included. Concierge made good restaurant recommendations. Well located near metro and shops. Easy to access taxis.

Breakfast would take approx 40/45 min to arrive after ordering and would arrive cold as the kitchen is on the 3rd floor. They need heated trolleys and also a kitchen that doesn’t forget toast or give you the wrong toast and then tell you it was gluten free when in fact it wasn’t. Car to airport was booked by concierge as a sedan when in fact we needed a SUV - we did give the accurate no of bags.

The location is convenient and well-situated. The room size is comfortable and spacious enough for a relaxing stay. Cleanliness is up to standard, with everything well-maintained and tidy.

Two weeks prior to check-in, I requested support for an early check-in and received a positive response from the property. However, upon arrival, my request was declined, which I understand. I was assured that I would be notified via text once the room was ready, but no one followed up or reached out. It felt as though no one cared at all!

We really enjoyed the location, close to Central Park, 5th Avenue and just a walk to the Moma. It was easy to move around! We also enjoyed breakfast at the location many days! The cleaning staff was very helpfull when we had a request. My son is alergic to goose feather so they replaced the pillows to anti allergic ones. We had a great time at Thompson! Highly recommend it.

The breakfast was not included in the rate as booking.com advertised and the local manager mentioned that this was a problem on your booking.com add, so be aware that you will be paying for breakfast.

Small rooms for the cost. Room service took too long and food not hot.

3 blocks away from Central Park for morning exercise/run. Also close to (5-15 min walk) Broadway theaters. Subway station for route A is nearby. Also it far enough from the mess of Times Square.

Parking is super expensive and the fee is not clear. Booking.com reservation says $75/day without mentioning in/out privilege (there is no in-out privilege, everytime you need a car you pay an extra $65 for valet). When I checked in, hotel said it is $85/day. Now it shows $95/day in booking.com. On top valets are expecting a tip everytime

Property was a significant upgrade on the Parker Meridien where I stayed 150+ nights. Life Time was great, if only temporary Great to see the old Normas staff Shower much better, though still leaked Very comfortable bed

Front desk only offered a one hour extra for late check out (used to be 4pm) Wine and food offering is better than before but still quite expensive e.g, avocado toast $29, glass of wine $26
