If you don't have a car (I did) this place can be a bit more difficult, but they are very good at communicating to setup transport for you and have a free shuttle to town every day. This place truly is more of a guesthouse rather than a hotel, ample parking, big yard with barbecue and a pool and a bar with a nice kitchen and living room. Dorm beds were solid and would not wobble, each with tons of outlets and a small light with curtain. Good storage with a lockable bin beneath the bed as well. Pretty solid room by dorm standards.

Would be far without a car. Room was next to the road but wasn't really an issue.

The staff the young ladies and men were exceptionally wonderful, they very attentive and helpful. Whenever I had a need or concern they never hesitated to assist. Even though we did not take advantage of the meals we saw others enjoying their meals and congregating happily together. Was extremely surprised that it was full to capacity and I was worried about bathroom availability but it was never an issue.

My bed was very uncomfortable, of course there are rules posted regarding noise and consideration of others, I do not feel this is any fault to management or staff because they have no control over other’s actions but not all were considerate to the noise and time frames, and many were smoking even though it was posted no smoking throughout which was a burden for non smokers.

Has a side bar for enjoying drinks at leisure. Their breakfast was delicious and filling. The staff, especially Catherine is very knowledgeable. They are all friendly and willing to go the extra mile to make your stay at the venue and in Windhoek memorable one. The place is clean and even has a bookshelf for the “book worms “to pick books and read. Hot water, Wifi, tv, etc are not even worth mentioning as they are standard. Security is on point. Swimming pool was sparkling. I can only write good things about that place, because they deserve all the praise.

Staff very helpful and nice. Open grounds gated plenty of space.

Kitchen broken has to use outside burners not good. Fix your stove inside geeeez. Getting in out gate was annoying they have to push a button vs getting your own code. And during winter stop opening and leaving the doors wide open, the staff shows up bundled up opens doors props then open in the mornings why would you do that we guests don’t want a cold place to wake up and move around! Think beyond yourself

The room was very comfortable, and the bathroom included both a bathtub and a shower. I stayed in Swakopmund and really enjoyed the space. For the cold winter nights, I would suggest providing hot water bottles, they’re more eco-friendly and would help reduce energy consumption, especially since the air-conditioner’s heating function wasn’t very effective and blew cold air during the night. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind.

Good place, comfy room (twin), friendly staff. Good facilities. Close to city centre you can take uber or similar taxi app.

With no staff onsite felt very unsafe. Had to call the number of the hotel, thankfully i had a local sim card or else i wouldnt have been able to connect with anyone at the reception.

Very friendly and helpful staff and safe feeling area. The beds are comfortable and the outdoor area is really nice to sit and eat and relax and has a kitchen and an eating area covered with light gravel . The interior is also very friendly.

Unfortunately the Guest kitchen only hosted a couple of glasses and plates and was too less if more than two people wanted to eat. Also there were no spoons or cups, so the kitchen could be a little bit better equipped. The inside eating area feels a little bit dark but that's OK :)

The staff are very friendly and accommodating. They are quick to assist and have the guest's best interest at heart. The accommodation is clean, decorated well, and comfortable. This is excellent value for money.

The plugs in my room did not work on the second evening but I reported it in the morning and the issue was immediately addressed. The area around the guesthouse is not walkable, however the staff are very friendly and assisted with recommendations for taxi's and other services. This was a lovely stay.

The location is great if u want a quiet time away from everything but difficult and far away from everything. Don't expect to walk to a nearby restaurant cos there isn't any. It's out of town. Food delivery is a standard 50 N dollars which is ridiculous. ...also I did not like the noise level. The workers are wonderful and friendly but forget in the mornings that guests are sleeping. Internet didn't work in some rooms.
