The breakfast was amazing. Especially porridge and oats for those freezing mornings. The options were plentiful to suit most tastes I would say. The warmth of the restaurant with heaters and a fire made the trek from the rooms bearable in the cold. Spacious restaurant despite many residents. Fresh and tasty food. My request for maintenance of my door lock was handled rapidly. My check out early with packed breakfast was handled efficiently and the staff were all pleasant and helpful throughout.

Coffee and hot water lost heat rapidly - a way of keeping cups warm maybe? Facial tissue in the room was missing. Small thing. Whilst an iron was provided. Big thing. The long list of rules - understandably to ensure a comfortable environment for all - but it was a first for me to be confronted with such. The great number of gate guards and 2 sets of boom gates gives the impression that the place is unsafe - that danger is lurking, unsettling. Even the reception door is locked at 0630am... Yet the place seemed safe and quiet and I felt comfortable walking around at night or early mornings. Not a place to lie in as close to the main road. Convenient location for getting around.

Arebbusch is a great place to stay at. I like the fact that I can have a self catering unit and enjoy the surrounds while preparing a barbeque. You are in the city but it does not feel like it when staying at Arebbusch. The restaurant offers great meals, service is fantastic and the beer on tap is served in a chilled glass! The pizzeria is a winner. The staff at reception was super friendly and helped to assist in making sure that I got a self catering unit. My chalet was clean, well equipped and the bedding was crisp and fresh!

I liked everything. No comments about what I did not like.

The accommodation of choice if you are a parkrunner. 1 mile walk to Windhoek parkrun. Excellent value for money, good food, quiet location, gated with security patrols. I've never felt so safe. 45 mins from the airport. They really get customer service and looking after tourists. We had questions in advance and they were answered on WhatsApp almost instantaneously as receptionist is manned 24 hours. Tours of the City and Game Drives available on booking. com or locally. Again reasonably priced and they will come and pick you up at reception. Remember to tip well.

Everything was lovely. Hardworking, friendly people. I'd be more than happy to stay here again.

From the Welcome at check in that went smoothly to the security it was an unbelievable experience, travelling through Nam to arrive at such luxury was awesome. Everything we needed was available in our room and to grab dinner from the restaurant was very convenient. A huge hats off to housekeeping!!! Well done Arebbusch for doing all those behind the scenes jobs!!

After staying two nights we noticed that the standard in breakfast service was not really the same on both mornings, running out on certain foods and us arriving to some empty serving trays. We had to opt for the omelette as it seemed the best option on that morning

The river facing luxury tent was a little ironic, in that the river had dried up a month or two back, and the tent was attached to a fairly substantial brick built bathroom, with a safe and clothes hanging area. Definitely quiet though we were there New Years Eve so there was about 10 minutes of fireworks! Site was very clean and tidy, felt secure. The aircon worked well, the Wifi was also good. There was an outside fridge secured by a key and braai area.

Wildlife particularly the birds fairly noisy early in the morning. you might consider it inconvenient the fridge being outside. We paid using a link they provided and they had a little trouble checking that when we arrived that we had paid. Fortunately I could show them the confirmation emails for payment. A few bugs and flying things around as you'd expect.

It's a quiet and relaxing location, very good for bird lovers as well. The room was always kept clean, and the house keeping team is very efficient, and friendly.

During the check in, I was mistakingly told that the restaurant needs no reservation and one can walk in at any time. However when my friend and I went for dinner the first day there was no single table for us. they were fully reserved. Also, waiting for a shuttle car to take my luggage and me to my room after check-in was forever. I just gave up and walked there in a very hot day.

The friendly and helpful teams in reception, restaurant, cleaning and drivers. All provided a great service. The entire complex was very clean, lovely decor and outside pool and gardens. The breakfasts were very good especially the freshly made omelette to order. And the pizzas. All excellent. Holding our bags after checkout as we had an evening flight. This enabled an extra day exploring Windhoeck.

The limited vegetarian range on the restaurant menu. Bathrobes in the rooms would.be ideal.

Breakfast was very good. There was a good choice and well prepared. There was a lady who assisted with our booking. Her name was Faith. I vote for her as employee of the year, she was professional, patient, friendly, helpful and super efficient. :)

Tried the Alacarte menu once, was disappointed in the spare ribs, had to send it back. Dry and tough. I suggest better quality assurance needed before serving. Replaced the order with fish and that was a better. Suggest sticking to the pizzas, better quality and value.

The place was beautiful, in a beautiful location. I loved the trees in the lodge, the reception is convenient. The reception staff were friendly. The breakfast was delicious.

Some of the facilities in the rooms are outdated. 1. The Bathroom windows must open in a downwards manner, so that people won't see u when it's open. 2. The taps are outdated, mixer single lever taps are so much better, especially in the shower. The water was turning hot then cold, I wasn't sure if it's because of the taps combination. 3. A full body mirror add some value, more specifically for ladies. But overall it was a beautiful stay.

We stayed in one of the Villas, which has it's own garden, so it was very private. The villa has everything one could wish for, and is perfect for a long stay. There was enough parking for our two vehicles and we really enjoyed some 'down time' in the garden, as well as walking around the property with its abundant birdlife and ground squirrels. There was enough water, milk and coffee and tea for our 2 night stay, and the coffee pod machine was a bonus. If it weren't for the staff at the restaurant, my score would be 10/10

With the exception of a very friendly waitress at lunch on our arrival day, the staff in the restaurant are unattentive and unhelpful. Service during dinner was slow and our waiter was mostly MIA. Had we not asked for the breakfast bill, we could easily have walked away without paying, as nobody even acknowledged our presence. These were the only unfriendly service staff we encountered during our 2 week tour through Namibia.
