I liked how close it was to universal studios and how it was nice and quiet compared to the rest of the surrounding areas loved how the staff was very nice and friendly

I didn’t like that you could tell it needed some small renovations through out the whole facility , there was lots of chipped paint on the furniture in the rooms , mold/ wet spots on our ceiling elevator smelled like dog urine , and the pool was beyond freezing though out the room and the pool should’ve been heated

Do not be led by any negative reviews! Great location for business or leisure. ALL of the front desk clerks were awesome and very welcoming. Zack, your awesome man! Here are some the details: -First off, the whole place smelled great. Rooms are clean and spacious. It felt safe and welcoming. -Universal Studios about a 20 min walk. Great restaurants within 5 min walk. Convenience stores are a minute walk. - Starbucks across the street. The pool was a little on the small side but that was not a deal breaker for my family. the pool is in doors and is heated. There is everything you need, if you are like me, around you so don't have to drive in the L.A. TRAFFIC. I will be coming back again and again.

The hotel was well maintained, and the staff was amazing. Our rooms were clean and well stocked. Kids enjoyed the indoor pool. Great location. Pizza and coffee across the street. Very close for Universal Studios. I was traveling with my parents and my kids, so being able to have a joining room was nice. Overall, our stay was pleasurable.

No continental breakfast. It's usually a must, but I chose this hotel based on the closeness to Universal Studios. (They do offer coffee in the lobby). Paying to park in the parking lot(about $30 a night), but there's no option to park elsewhere. Rooms were regular hotel sized, but one of our rooms had an oversized chair and end table in the corner behind the connecting door, making it hard to move around to the bathroom and entry door. Felt a little overcrowded for the space.

The place was very clean, which is very important. But for once, the thing that stood out the most was the staff, I arrived at a hotel where I was to be greeted by staff members who were very helpful and insightful and they did not made it feel like a chore when answering my questions not being from the area. I don't remember his full name, but if you're there and find yourself talking to a guy whose name starts with a J, be ready to be welcome like family.

I was just unfortunate to be placed in a room where the infrastructure of the building itself blocks the view outside. Nothing can be done, i get that but maybe in the description of rooms have a disclosure. One doesn't travel to stay at the hotel and look out the window. But personally, having an open view makes the stay feel more relaxing and not dystopian

Excellent location for anyone visiting Universal Studios

Great location (20min walk to Universal Studios). Comfortable beds. Microwave, fridge and coffee machine in the room. Decent selection of toiletries provided. Tea and coffee making facilities next to the front desk. The choice at breakfast is limited (e.g. bagels, cereal, oats, yogurt, juice and hot drinks) but good considering it was included in the price.

One of the lamps was not working in our room. We were able to leave our luggage for the day when checking out but it was just in the breakfast area so didn’t feel like the most secure place to leave our belongings.

The location for a trip to universal was perfect. Whilst the walk up is a bit of a slope it was easily reachable in 20 minutes. Whilst there is some noise from the freeway it didn’t impact us too much. That may be partly due to busy days and heavy sleep. The staff were very friendly and more than happy to assist with any queries. For location and prices based on our family needs this hotel was spot on

I really loved the location. For me, being able to exit my room and the hotel and get to my car quickly was important and convenient. For this reason, i didn't choose a larger hotel. We didn't have an issue with parking and the elevator is right next to the door in the lobby. Check in was fast and easy and they were able to accommodate an early check in. I booked 2 queens but was accommodated with 2 doubles instead. They didn't mention the swap but for me it wasn't a big deal since we got the early check in anyways. The manager was friendly and made recommendations about Universal Studios. The room was spacious and the shower was great. The bed was good. Linens are thin so maybe ask for an extra blanket if you're used to a heavy blanket. What's nice is that the windows open. One thing I noticed is even with the bathroom exhaust fan on, the room still accumulated moisture in the windows. The traffic light when you leave doesn't turn green or you have to wait a long time, we just made a right turn to leave. Oh and they offer to-go breakfast. Overall, I would stay here again.

Linens are thin, and the bed is a little on the softer side. These are not big deal breakers just based on my personal preference.

The hotel staff were very friendly, helpful, and always smiling, especially the reception team. The rooms were clean and well-kept. The location is excellent, just about 5 minutes by car from Universal Studios. Parking was convenient with very good rates. We also really appreciated the 24-hour coffee, water, juice, and the candies for the kids.

Everything was great, no complaints.
