The front desk staff, Monica was extremely helpful and courteous when we arrived. We were made to feel welcomed right away! This was the last leg of our trip. We got a great night's sleep and were close to our final destination to Carlsbad Caverns. After our adventure,we came back to the Inn for some relaxation before our trip home. The Inn was very comfortable and clean. We were able to rest comfortably after a long week as we made our way back home. A few family members used the pool. They said it was very relaxing. We were able to get some laundry done there as well. The breakfasts were very good and filling. Thanks for making our stay great!

One of the rooms had a kind of squeaky bed, but it was confortable....just little irritating to the roommate!

When I first pulled into the parking lot, I noticed there was not much parking up front, but my goodness, there's an abundance in the back. We walked in and I instantly saw a clean and refreshing place. Ms. Jenny quickly checked us in, and we were off to our handicap accessible room. I walked in and noticed a stench that I couldn’t ignore. I went back to the front desk and reported the smell. Ms. April, the hotel manager, quickly went to see if she could smell it too. Unfortunately, she did and assured me she would find a more suitable place. Unfortunately, the room she had available was not handicap accessible, but I would overlook that for a nice room without a smell. Thankfully, she found me a room on the first floor, which I was happy about since that’s where I wanted to be in the first place. When I walked in, the room smelled great, and the bathroom was clean. The linen was clean, the beds were comfortable, but unfortunately, our microwave was dirty. The room had: a Holy Bible, a tour book, a list of restaurants, a refrigerator, a microwave, a coffee maker, an iron, an ironing board, four large towels, four small towels, four hand towels, and lots of light. As I was bringing in my bags, Ms. Jenny brought my credit card to me. To my surprise, I left it at the front desk. Thank Goodness for honest people! Everything else was going great until we came in during a thunderstorm. Unfortunately, I assume our window leaked, and the air conditioner had water above it and was no longer working. I reported the issue to Ms. Jenny. She verified, then stated that it would be better for us to move and found me a room across the hall. Of course, I didn’t want to move, but I was happy she made a quick decision and found us a room nearby. The room we moved to had two beds instead of one, which was fine since we would only stay one more night due to more rain predictions. The outdoor pool was open and clean. We enjoyed it daily until it got too breezy.

Check-in was simple and smooth and the clerk was very personable and efficient. The breakfast was well-stocked and decent. We requested that we leave a day early because of incoming severe winds and dust storms, and they accommodated our request despite being short of the 24 hour time limit. The facilities were VERY clean, no lingering odors and certainly exceeded our expectations.

The unit directly above us had three children (checked in as a single adult?) engaged in non-stop jumping and running until we finally called after several hours. The desk called him and the noise ceased immediately. Inconsiderate guests on 3rd floor, nice cooperation and action by facility.

The room was spacious and comfortable, especially nice and cool when we arrived. The bed was SO comfortable and the shower was exceptional. It was so nice to have decent water pressure and multiple settings! The price was great for the level of comfort.

We were double charged for the room and three days later still waiting for the charge to be reversed. Giving it the benefit of the doubt since we stayed on a Thursday night and this is only Sunday. While it did put a temporary dent in the budget, it was no big deal and we still had a great time.

Breakfast had no healthy options except fruit. Treadmill in fitness area did not work. Staff at reception could not help guests with simple questions re Carlsbad Caverns. I answered questions for guests about this. As the caverns are a major reason for visiting Carlsbad the staff should have information about this. Contact the staff at C Caverns so they have current information.

Room large and bed very comfortable. Staff was good, BUT very business like. Breakfast was good, but could use a potato selection could be added. Good place to stay when heading to Carlsbad Caverns. It is at the bottom of the congested hotel strip.

Our room was street side. Cars going by were too loud in the evening and somewhat in the early morning. Best to ask for a room on the back side of the hotel. It is a little overpriced. $20 less would have been more appropriate.

Breakfast was very good. The right location for our desire to be at the edge of town and easy access to Rattle Snake Springs. And quick get away to Texas in the the morning. Don't take the highway to Pecos unless you must too many trucks and construction until you reach Texas. Take the route South and West to Van Horne.

A closer place to eat dinner, trying to avoid fast food places and pizza

You need to have right expectations vs what you are paying, so for the difference in price, this hotel did the trick for us for one night. We probably would prefer the larger brands (typical 3 stars) if we need to stay for a few days. Room is clean enough and most surprising were the comfort level of the pillows. Check in lady was very nice and was speedy.

Water pressure was very weak, can't complain again but just stating facts.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a nice selection of food choices. The room size gave us breathing room and made the stay more relaxing. The room heater/air conditioner worked well and did not wake me up when it turned on. Beds/Pillows were quite comfortable. Bathroom was spacious and water pressure with shower worked well.

The The coffee was a disappointment, very weak and cheap tasting. The creamers were helpful but still yucky coffee. I thought the eggs and hashbrowns were a bit undercooked.

Everything was in good working order. The noise level within the building was well controlled from inside the hotel room. The staff was efficient and friendly. My room was clean.
