Hotel is brand new and rooms are large and spacious. We stayed in the family room which consisted of two large bedrooms with a flat screen TV in each room. Air conditioning wasn’t working initially but was quickly turned on by the staff when we brought it to his attention. Breakfast was included, and although it was mainly cold food consisting of cereal, yogurt, ham and cheese, assortment of bread, there was freshly squeezed orange juice which was a very nice touch! Free covered parking, which was great to keep the car from heating up in the sun.

Location isn’t very convenient and was difficult to find. There were signage to the hotel but we didn’t expect the gate to be closed and didn’t realize that we had to drive up close to the gate for it to open - we ended up turning away and trying to find another entrance only to find out there was only one. Exiting also required a manual code in order for the gate to open which was a bit annoying.

Very nice hotel, very clean, and superb included breakfast. The country surroundings were quiet and peaceful. We stayed here on a weekend when almost everything else in Marseille was fully booked due to a massive soccer game.

This hotel is fairly remote. It is not within walking distance of any services. Also, despite the hotel name, it is not near the city of Aix-en-Provence, neither is it close to a TGV train station.

Location - it’s on a golf course so it takes a while to get to. Sat nav doesn’t take you the right way if coming from Marseille so be warned! Also takes a while to get to the property from the main road. Adds about 10 mins to your journey. Cleanliness - the rooms get cleaned every day but the room could’ve been cleaner. When we arrived there was hair in the shower, the toilet hadn’t been cleaned properly and there was a damp smell in the bathroom. There were also used cigarette butts on the balcony. We don’t smoke. Facilities - there isn’t a kettle or tea/coffee making facilities in the room. We’d expect this from any hotel, especially when paying over £100 per night. Security - there aren’t any safes in the rooms and the door to our hotel room didn’t lock properly.
