Domaine Gaogaia is an incredibly nice property. It is clean and the breakfast is very good. There are plenty of good options for the breakfast. The pool is also great.

The location is a little bit far out from the city center. We were able to get ubers, but they are not cheap. Bolts repeatedly canceled on us. Our only real complaint was the restaurant. The restaurant has a good, but had a very small menu. That same menu is offered for both lunch and dinner. There is a larger menu offered for the "After Work" menu with many other options, but it was not available to order from in the dining area.

Staff were superb, food was excellent. Great location and excellent vibe. My dogs were made very welcome as were we. My wife loved it for her birthday. The guy on reception was so helpful. Highly recommend this place.

Only a couple little things-don’t hate me. Pool area could be styled a bit better like the whole hotel is. Also If I request a bottle of wine round the pool, keep it in fridge at the bar-i understand glass in the pool area, I’ll come for a top up. Also I f I ask for a mix from one menu to the other then please accommodate, it’s the same kitchen. I would’ve spent another couple hundred euros but I wasn’t allowed due to “rules with wine and food.” These are silly things but would make the stay better.

We had a very happy stay at this pretty hotel. Our room was on the smaller side, but very comfortable and quiet — perfect for a restful night. The staff were warm and friendly. The highlight of our stay was enjoying delicious cocktails on the lawn, followed by a lovely dinner under the gorgeous tree, lit up with lights, on the terrace. The atmosphere was lively and relaxed, with great music adding to the vibe. Breakfast in the conservatory was another treat — a pretty and welcoming space with plenty of variety and the freshest croissants.

Most of the pool lounger seats were broken, pity they were not taken away as it made the area look scruffy. The pool area did not have the same pretty atmosphere as the rest of the hotel.

We loved the 18th century house (if I am not mistaken) and how it was converted into a hotel. Everything was clean, tidy, and handpicked. There is plenty of parking space and the hotel has its own restaurant and bar. There was a DJ night when we arrived and we were initially worried it would keep us up at night, but the walls are so thick and the windows have double glass that we didn't hear anything.

The place was really lovely so nothing that we disliked. We do have a comment that is more about the Booking website really, but for the first time we had a different price on the spot versus what was on the Booking website. I don't know why this happened.

The location was beautiful and the property was charming. Plenty of outdoor areas to enjoy and relax in. The bedroom was very comfortable and the bathroom facilities were good.

The staff were inattentive and made very little effort to engage. They did not explain that the restaurant operated a QR code scheme for accessing the menu. As an older couple we prefer not to have our phones with us at meal times. We were left in an embarrassing situation of having to go to our room to retrieve our phones before we could order our meal but strangely this was done via the waiter. An explanation at check-in would have prevented this. At breakfast not a single member of staff spoke to us. All in all it was a very impersonal experience.

Nestled in the heart of nature in Provence, it offers an amazing chance to relax and enjoy the serene environment. The atmosphere is simply amazing, making every moment a joy. We were greeted with warm smiles and received excellent service throughout our stay. The breakfast is outstanding, offering a wide variety of delicious options. Relaxing in the garden with a wonderful cocktail was the perfect way to unwind. Overall, an exceptional experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable stay.

Very nice place with a good charme surrounding by nature

Breakfast absolutely not sufficient Boiled eggs only, no scramble no omelette. Ham only (no others options, no bacon no sausage) just one cheese (in France…. 😱) Also the sweet part of the breakfast is pretty poor, croissant and chocolate bread very “industrial” (no difference on what you can find in Novotel) just one juice, industrial as well. Definitely a poor breakfast

This was a little slice of heaven just outside of busy Aix. We felt like we were in the country, but the city is only a 10-15 minute drive. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are quite big, with spacious modern bathrooms. Bed and pillows were comfortable for me, but the bed was too hard for my sister. The grounds are lush and gorgeous, with views of the rolling hills. We enjoyed the breakfast, although it was quite simple. Dinner at the restaurant was good, but on the pricier side compared to other places we ate. We loved sitting outside on the couches and enjoying some wine or a cocktail. Overall, a great stay and a great price.

Beautiful gracious old building with lovely views over Provence countryside. Several large outdoor spaces for lounging, dining in the fresh air, gorgeous pool. Beautiful dining room, very friendly staff, thanks to Melanie for looking after us so well. Very comfortable bed, gorgeous pillows and fluffy duvet. Beautiful gardens.
