Great restaurant, nice room with huge terrace and a REALLY friendly staff that tried so hard for my family. On New Years Eve Isabelle and her colleague danced with my 7 year old son after dinner - He loved it! The next day as the same colleague sees him she gives him a big hug and a cheek kiss. For a little one feeling appreciated means a lot!

Nothing- if you are a Hollywood star you will always find a way to complain. But you are NOT! There can always be a misunderstanding, but the intention of the staff is kind and customer minded.

The hotel is close to center of town (10-15 min walk) but far enough from the hustle and bustle. the grounds are idyllic. the rooms were very clean and well appointed. the linens and bedding was excellent— as were the toiletries. Our room had a view of the gardens and the pool. the restaurant was excellent— all be it a bit pricey— but worth it. Breakfasts were outdoors because of the outstanding weather. the food and choices were excellent and any special desires were met by a very engaged and professional staff. the pool was extremely comfortable with comfortable lounge chairs. it was easy to order a chilled bottle of wine (Roses were of course fabulous). there was also a garden bar for a pre or after dinner drink. parking was free and literally outside the front door. we traveled to a winery (Chateau La Coste), a lavender field (too early for all the beautiful buds but great relaxing site). the name was Terre Ugo— family owned and operated, and a few neighboring cities. all these were within 30-60 minutes and again the hotels location made getting on and off the highway simple. we did journey to Marseille one day— here we took the train from the center of town, walked the city and dined at the port. lovely! bottom line: a wonderful, relaxing, delicious and restful experience. cannot say enough about it and we will return!!

The breakfast was served in beautiful surrounds in the gardens, under the shelter of trees, and there was a nice selection of fresh food. The staff were exceptional - nothing was too much trouble. The concierge and receptionist were so warm and welcoming and made every effort to ensure my stay was perfect. All other staff too, from the people working by the pool or the bar, to the housekeepers - everyone was friendly and attentive. A true 5* service. The pool was exquisite too, clean, uncrowded and the perfect temperature to cool off in the hot sun, with refreshments delivered to your bed as and when you needed them, along with fresh towels.

Nothing worth mentioning! I had a minor issue with my original room (nothing wrong with the room itself, just a personal preference), and the receptionist moved me to a different one within 10 minutes! I really couldn't fault any part of my stay.

The room was spacious and clean. The furnishings, though modern, were stylish. The restaurant, especially for dinner had good food and and is set in an enchanting courtyard. The staff also helped arranged some fairly complicated shipping for us.

Nothing I can recall. It is about a 20 minute walk to the old town, so, after a day of walking, we often choose a taxi when we returned to the old town for dinner. Walking home after dinner was pleasant as it had cooled down and the boulivard was much quieter.

The hotel has beautiful gardens, the location is walking distance to city center, parking on site is free. We liked everything about our stay, but especially good were the hotel staff. Always very helpful, caring and giving great recommendations. We would like to especially thank Frederic, Emilio and Elvira. Mr Frederic gave us amazing recommendations around Luberon area and helped with booking restaurants, we really felt like special guests.

The garden area was stunning and having breakfast there every morning was quite heavenly. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly.

The only fault was that we arrived with2 full cases as we were in France for 2 weeks and there wasn’t a lot of cupboard space but the hotel and the staff were so lovely that it made up for it.

Our third visit to Pigonnet (our Hotel of Choice in Aix!) As ever, beautiful garden, beautiful room, and without exception, your staff are so welcoming, attentive and kind. The bed for our dog was better than hers at home! We dined at the restaurant each night, and it was always wonderful (especially the mirabelle soufflé!) - you really have an outstanding chef, and all of the waiting staff were exceptiional. A beautiful selection for breakfast too. Another very relaxing and very happy stay with you - looking forward to the next time!

The only thing I could remark on, was that one of the basins in the bathroom (room 42) had some big cracks in the bottom of it - it just looked as though it should be replaced.

A lovely small hotel in close proximity to the old town. Our room was very clean and comfortable and the staff friendly.

I was disappointed that the spa was closed for renovations.

Perfect little boutique hotel in Aix-en-Provence, family run, friendly and welcoming staff, wonderful service. Little oasis of quiet, the gardens are gorgeous. 3 mins from motorway and walkable to centre of town. Dog friendly. Ideal stop for journey to Barcelona.

beautiful setting, with garden and pool, lovely outdoor restaurant and separate area for drinks in the garden. we stayed there a decade ago and it has been nicely refreshed without losing its character. Excellent breakfast buffet for which in nice weather you can then be seated out in the. garden. Le Pigonnet is not really central to Aix but a 10-15 minute walk gets you to the center. a very top-flight property.

not much bad to say. our room was considerably smaller than our previous one, but we had purposely selected a more standard room this time as we were staying only one night, and the desk clerk volunteered that we would have been upgraded but they were fully booked. Somehow our friends’ reservation was cancelled by the hotel, and when the hotel realized its error, they acknowledged it (so rare!) and found them a tiny room, for which they were not charged.
