The room was beautifully decorated. We were located on the second floor with beautiful trees outside our window. We overlooked a fountain and the restaurants and shops that were literally steps away from our building. The train station was less than a 10 minute walk from the hotel. There was a kettle and tea and coffee in the room as well as a fridge with bottled water. The bathroom was large and had a full length mirror. Although the hotel is located in a busy are, it was surprisingly quiet in the room for a Saturday night. The breakfast was in a beautiful room downstairs. There, we found a generous self serve selection of numerous French breakfast items.

The staff and ambiance exceeded our expectations. We don't have any complaints.

Location is a must of course since at the beginning of the "historical" and "lively" area of Aix. I got a room at the back so noise from nearby Pubs/restaurants/people was clearly not an issue. It was also very close to transportation which is also a bonus. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was adequate considering the price but one notices that the hotel building as a whole is rather old by now (but everything worked in my bedroom, no complain whatsoever except for Wifi...)

Clearly the Wifi is not stable enough or bandwidth is insufficient. After 7-8pm it was impossible to maintain a stable connection for more than a minute. I would loose connection on my Skype call (even with just audio) for 10-15 seconds....back up again....1 minute and then interrupted again (0kb/s of incoming traffic) then back up again and so on. Unsure why but it was not that critical (i would just choose different timings or use my 5G instead...) otherwise i would clearly have nagged the staff.

Perfectly situated in the Aix old city. Although there are bars and restaurants with tables outside on the street the hotel is miraculously quiet. The minute the main sliding door shuts close - you can't hear a thing. Our room had a window facing the opposite side of the street so it was quiet. We didn't try the breakfast the hotel offers because there are many patisseries around.. Water in the shower is hot and strong.

It has no parking. The closest parking is rotonda. There's always a place. You pay by the hour. For an overnight we paid 13-16 euros, depends how late we slept... Walls between the rooms are not noise proof. But that wasn't a problem during the night.

hotel is very central to everything. literally just outside the front door there are bars, coffee shops restaurants and beautiful places to walk around in the old city. we only stayed one night in this hotel and it was perfect for what we needed. The carpet on the stairs is very old and worn and could do with being changed or at least deep cleaned. The lift was out of order when we arrived but it was quickly fixed. The bedroom we had was quite big, clean and the bathroom was on the small side, but perfect and clean. The soundproof windows were ideal as there is a lot of activity outside.

The location of this hotel is phenomenal. Right there near the Rotonde. Tons of good restaurants, shops, the big Mirabeau market and the Tourist Office are steps away. The staff is super helpful and nice. They all speak English. The bed was very comfortable and we loved the strong hot shower after long travel.

There was a policy on the air conditioning. It was set at 25 celcius and could not go lower. With the extreme heat outside, the room was tolerable but we would have liked for it to be cooler at night for better sleeping.

We liked Cecile who was amazing, she made our move to a larger room seem less, picked up and did laundry, arrange for help with luggage and taxi at 4 am for me to go to the airport. I think she did beyond what her job is, and I would like to thank her, I hope she will be promototed, she is very good at getting things done for guests. Others working in a front desk were also very nice, and accommodating. Cleaning lady Wuth blond hair was always helpful when we wanted extra towels and soap, the other cleaning lady Wuth dark hair was very aggressive and unpleasant, she did not appreciate that we did not have room cleaned every day but still needed some things for the room. Explaining to her was hopeless

Perhaps noise level, but not sure that is possible because buiding is old snd lots of night life just outside. Not a big deal.

Location was in the heart of everything. Almost too close to the action. Luckily the live music from the pub directly below our window stopped at 10pm. Revelers, however, continued on to about 5am…bank holiday. Some problem with the room phone…it didn’t work.

Breakfast was a little sketchy, but edible!not sure how many guests were at the hotel. Warning, local restaurants don’t serve dinner until after 7pm….just libations.

The location was exceptional, close to good cafe's, and the Cour Mirabeau in the center of the town. You can walk to everything in the main part of the town very easily.

The room was very nice (appeared to have been recently redone) and quiet even though facing the pleasant little plaza (excellent new soundproofing windows!). However housekeeping left the window open once and we had to chase many flies before going to bed.

Perfect location, quiet, clean, beautiful entry, walk out the door in the heart of the beautiful old city. 2 minute Walt to tourist center to start day tours.

Most of the staff were great Samba and another man who did the night shift were wonderful, helpful and kind.. There was a girl who was at the front desk around 18:30 who was rude, unkind and unhelpful.

The location is excellent, the staff were friendly especially Juliet who was extremely helpful assisting us in make a hotel booking for later in our trip. The shower was excellent. There was very useful coat hanger pegs as you enter the room, a novelty in France and very useful. Our room was very quiet being at the back but with no view

Our room bore no relation to those advertised and was very basic. The lighting was poor especially in the bathroom. The air conditioning struggled, were there in late July. The wifi was a little erratic. If you have a car Rotunda 4 car park would seem to be the closest to the hotel.
