Excellent location in the historic district of Aix. Older hotel with stairs that might not work for some adults. Room could use a little love with paint and fixtures but the linens were clean. The staff (also the owners) were exceptional. They called the airport to find out how and when to retrieve our luggage that didn’t arrive. As we were in Aix only 2 nights( plenty of time to see the historic sites), they arranged a taxi to take us back to the airport to retrieve the bag, found the correct location, waited for us, and we were able to do it and be back at the hotel swiftly. We spoke no French, and they helped us immensely. Great people who made the visit to Aix a lovely time.

The central location first of all! you walk out of the cafe and you’re in the heart of the town! also, rooms are very tastefully decorated in french country style, and clean. our room was very spacious. over all, very very good value for money

I wouldn’t describe it as a proper hotel, it is more of rooms to let behind the cafe. no reception, and sometimes you couldn’t find anyone except the waiters. Also,no elevator and narrow stairs, which makes it difficult to carry the luggage.(we had of course help when we arrived, but did it ourselves when we left). No wifi and no phone reception in our room! and lastly, breakfast. we were only offered a croissant and coffee. for a cafe, we were expecting more!

our room was soooo beautiful and we had two French windows overlooking the street. lovely bathroom. just loved it. nicely welcomed when we arrived and helped with our luggage. nice breakfast that was included and a lovely place to sit. on a beautiful street where the market was held. great location

lovely staff when we arrived and mostly throughout our stay but at dinner we were made to move from a table because there were only 2 of us and the table was for 4. the restaurant was very quiet and we were staying in the hotel so seemed unnecessary and was done in a very unpleasant way. our waiter was also rude but I think following the lead of his manager. unfortunate as all other staff were charming

It’s central location. Excellent petit déjeuner and the waiter was very professional. Also the chamber maids were excellent. By the time we came back up to our room after breakfast our room was serviced with clean towels including the floors being cleaned.

Being a café (with ten bedrooms) there isn’t a separate area for sitting outside to relax or a hotel lounge bar. The café is very good but it’s just tables and chairs. There is no lounge area with soft sofa style seating with low level tables.

The staff were extremely friendly, they even gave us breakfast early on th day we were leaving which was exceptionally kind. The room was beautifully decorated with a fantastic view and so clean! We had a lovely week staying here.

Very friendly staff who carried our heavy suitcases to the top floor. Delicious breakfast on the terrace of the café. Great location in the middle of the old town. Nicely furnished rooms with very comfortable beds.

The bathroom and toilet were not very clean at the beginning and were not cleaned during the stay.

Cafe de Paris Hotel was delightful. The location is incredible ( the hotel is part of a restaurant) and as you step out you are in the heart of Aix. The nicest part was the friendliness of the staff . Carla made us feel very welcome and went out of her away to bring us coffees whenever and Sufiyaan was very helpful too. All The staff here are extremely hard working and still cheerful. Our bedroom was cleaned and tidied immaculately each day.

room 7 is with a small private balcony and the decor is Chinoiserie - very pretty room 1 - is very large overlooking the main square also very spacious. the staff are so kind and attentive - funny - and friendly - maybe it's just February! the restaurant was also very good and large portions. breakfast is bread/jam/pastery/coffee/juice-

slow molasses wifi that you have to reconnect every minute. car parking is a 5 minute walk away.

No shower only a bath and the plug didn't fit Smashed glass on mirror , restaurant had extremely limited vegetarian options

A beautiful room with windows overlooking Cours Mirabeau. The room was spacious and very charming. We loved sitting outside and watching the people go by whilst having our breakfast.

Everything was fine.
