The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, an excellent team! The location of the hotel is perfect, a few blocks from Cours Mirabeau and a few minutes' walk from the historic city center

The experience with the cleaning was a bit strange. The first few days I was given a daily change of towels and my bed was made up in a very nice way. The last couple of days I didn't receive fresh towels anymore - and when I put my towels on the floor to signal that I wanted new ones, the towels from the floor were just hung back up! - and the bed wasn't made very well. Maybe there was a cleaning staff change during my stay. Anyway, that was a bit disappointing. The room was essential but very comfortable.

Absolutely adorable. We were beyond excited to see this hotel. Such an authentic Aix building and beautifully styled and equipped. Our room was petite but perfect and super comfortable. The air con in summer was a godsend. The location was fantastic, one minute walk to the Rue Mirabel and all its charms. The staff were so friendly and helpful and no request was too difficult. Love this place!!!!

It didn’t bother us at all but those who don’t love stairs may possibly find being on the third (top) floor a bit hard. We were fine with it and it was a great way to work off all the food we ate hahaha

The hotel in in a great location within easy walking g distance of all the main sights but on a quiet street. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The room was small but we were aware of this and thisnis to be expected in a city centre hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. All in all a great experience and I would definitely stay again and recommend this hotel.

This property was very quaint and decorated lovely. The amenities in the room were of high quality. They have done a great job maximizing space in this small footprint. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the continental breakfast was very good with plenty of options.

This property is quite small so the foyer and bedrooms were a bit cramped. Parking is a good distance away making it difficult to grab anything you may have forgot to take up to your room.

The property itself is really nice, in a historical building. The decoration is very typical of the area, with soft muted colors, and there is much attention paid to details. The bed was really comfortable, and we really liked having a window giving onto the quiet street, with typical shutters allowing some daylight without being too bright in the morning.

The room was really small. Although we did expect it not to be big, there was hardly any room to put bags, so i can't imagine if you come with one (or two) big suitcases! The bathroom was also small but functional, however the shower setup was difficult to use: the hand-held wand was attached too low to be of use, and the above "rain" wand took over the entire shower space so you could hardly shower without water all over your face and hair.

Location: a beautiful and characterful street very close to Cours Mirabeau, the main artery of old Aix. Pleasant 14 mins flat walk from.coach station Lovely building tastefully decorated Pretty bedroom, very restful shades, and a very comfortable bed Both receptionists very friendly and helpful

3rd floor bedroom, but the receptionist kindly offered to take our luggage upstairs..although the listing says staff won't do this. I am glad he did and to me it is essential ( if you are over 60 and have travelled from afar!) so THANK YOU! Some disruption from individuals on the street in the night ɓut it is a town centre location

The location was great. The room was tidy and clean. The ambiance felt historic. The reception was extremely nice.

For me the bed was firm, which I prefer a pillow top mattress. They charge to refill the water bottle €2.50 offered in the room. I'll admit the €5 fee for the pet is fair, but why charge at all? The sheets are going to be cleaned, the floor mopped. A few of the tiles on the staircase were loose.

Location was very good: close to public transport and walking distance to the main tourist areas, such as the markets, museums, and restaurants. The hotel has a lot of historical charm (with all the pros and cons that come with that :). Front desk was helpful with questions. AC worked very well and the room was quiet.

Our room (on the top floor) was a bit small (but we had a large bed). As the property notes, there is no elevator, only (narrow) stairs, so be mindful how large of a suitcase you are bringing.

Our room was very loud. Inside the property, you could hear everyone going up and down the stairs to their rooms. Outside noise was even worse. Although listed as an amenity, the AC was not yet turned on or available. We were told to open our windows to cool the room down for sleeping. This was very loud. Lots of carousing until very late.

The property is in a great location (silent and peaceful yet close to everything). The room was tastefully decorated and the staff was very helpful and kind.

The room we were given was very very small and the bathroom had no window ( and was ever so slightly run down). From the pictures on Booking.com, we were expecting a little more, they make the hotel look newer and grander.
