Parking facility with valet parking Needs to be clearer explained to the guests. I understood that there was a garage, then I was told it could be outside or garage.. There were 3 flies in the room which Is weird. Even if window Is opened during cleaning, flies cannot be left inside for the next client.

The hotel is great — well located within walking distance to the city center, yet in a quiet area, which was perfect. The rooms were large and comfortable, with an impeccable mattress; we slept exceptionally well. The room temperature was ideal — not too cold, not too warm. Breakfast was amazing, with a variety of food including fresh fruits, croissants, and more. The pool area exists (with free towels provided), though we didn’t try it; it doesn’t seem large but is a nice addition.

The parking price should be included in the room rate, which is already significant, rather than charged as an additional fee. For a five-star hotel, this would feel more appropriate and fair. Additionally, we could hear guests from other rooms closing their doors quite loudly. While this is more about guest behavior than the hotel, perhaps a better door-closing mechanism could help reduce the noise. Overall, the only downside was the parking policy.

OMG - just perfect. The hotel is amazing and only 5 minutes walk from the beautiful citycenter of Aix en Provence. We had a wonderful stay at Renaissance. We stayed 5 nights. The room was perfect with a/c (that worked perfectly). Furthermore is was very quiet. It gets hot in summer (40+ degrees celsius). Bed is one of the best hotel beds I have ever slept ind (kingsize) - very comfortable. Room is spacious with to chairs and a small table. Bathroom was good with shower with Fred Murphy products. Pool was very nice with a lot of sun beds (it opens at 10 am.) Poolbar and staff was very friendly and attentive. The hotel has a nice restaurant (Michelin one star but affordable :-))

Hotel was perfect - not our last visit Pool gets busy and very noisy during the day and some people (from "overthere") seems to forget that they are in another country not paying respect to other people while using the poolarea.

The gentleman who assisted with parking the car and unpacking our luggage was truly outstanding, offering the warmest of welcomes and going above and beyond with his service. This high standard of hospitality was reflected by every member of staff we encountered throughout the hotel. The property’s location is excellent, convenient and easily accessible to the main areas we wanted to visit. Overall, the hospitality we received was exceptional, and we are deeply grateful to everyone who contributed to making our trip such a success.

The rooms felt somewhat dated, with standard décor that lacked a sense of luxury. While we did appreciate the comfortable beds and quality bedding, the bathroom came across as quite basic and uninspiring, and the furniture appeared a little worn and outdated. Overall, the room did not reflect the standard of a five-star property and fell short of matching the excellent five-star service.

We have stayed before. Usually in August or July. The location is amazing and rooms very comfortable.

Some parts are starting to look tired though and I was annoyed we were not told to use our room key for the parking so payed much more than the €25 a day (which I think is excessive anyway!). The entry to the spa is also complicated unlike before … would have also appreciated if they didn’t keep taking the room key away whenever we left the room. One of our rooms also had a bad electrical short and our bedroom smelt badly of cigarette smoke!

The hotel was very family friendly and pet friendly we used all of the facilities and found everything very clean and staff exceptionally friendly. Breakfast was also very good catering to a variety of needs. Full English, French Continental, Italian and many other tasty breakfast treats.

The SPA was slightly chilly - the indoor pool could have been warmer, the Hamam was not very hot - However it was busy and clean. Although we didn't have massages the staff seemed very friendly and it was a lovely place to relax. We did go in winter. I think it would be much better in Summer.

Felix the night manager was professional and welcoming. He gently helped our sleeping children out of the car when we arrived after midnight and was helpful and proactive during our stay. The hotel seemed short staffed and ringing housekeeping or room service wouldn’t pick up and we’d get re directed to Felix who would then address our request (for glasses, for toiletries). Good location, parking on side streets is free over the weekend.

While the service was good, the facilities and maintenance was lacking. Our room was dusty, there was hair on the floor and the window safety latch was broken which presented a hazard for young children.

Great rooms - size/ facilities

10 min walk to the old city center, very spacious room, nice pool area and excellent breakfast. The price is a bit high, but it seems like the Aix-en-Provence area is a bit expensive overall. Staff was amazing, room very big (American hotel size), very clean. We needed something near by the city center so this worked out perfectly.

The price is a bit expensive. Parking is 25 euros/24h with only a valet parking option.

Staff was very friendly and competent. Room was very clean, very comfortable, spacious and pleasantly decorated (contemporary style). Bathroom was also perfectly clean, modern and very spacious. No view but quiet room on the third floor (no noise from street). About 10 minutes walk to the city center, slightly downhill. Pleasant walk, stores and restaurants along the way.

I was very disturbed by the cost of a minibar Pepsi when I saw my final bill: 9 Euros for a Pepsi seems excessive. I would have not mentioned it if it weren't for the fact that it came as a total surprise: there was no price indication in the room about drinks in the minibar and I assumed a normal markup, but 9 Euros is extravagant even in the most sophisticated bars in the area, let alone in one's room, specially if there is no warning.
