Absolutely stunning property with an exquisite pool area for relaxing. The bed was large and comfortable. Simple but good breakfast (typical French style) with breads, jams, and cheeses. The host was friendly and flexible with our check-in and check-out times, which was greatly appreciated as we worked around our delayed flight. A short and easy drive to Aix-en-Provence, but far enough to have a quiet, peaceful night.

We felt the price was quite high for what it was. The room was simple, clean and nice. The bathroom products provided (shampoo, soap) were quite basic. The host preferred we don't self-cater a simple dinner / FYI the kitchen is not really set up for self-catering, so don't plan for that.

This was an exceptional stay from the moment we arrived. Florence was there to greet us and show us around the gorgeous property, this was the warmest of welcomes. The rooms are clean, pretty and well equipped and the grounds are stunning and so well maintained. Florence ensured our stay was tailored to our preferences with breakfast as the time we required. A wonderful breakfast every morning with local produce was really the cherry on top. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone and I am sure we will return in the future.

This is a beautiful property near the historic town of Aix-en-Provence. The old town itself was well kept with limited auto traffic, narrow streets, lots of shops, excellent restaurants and frequent markets around the many squares. The grounds around the property were exceptional with walks around gardens, olive orchards and a pine forest with a view down on the town. The accommodations were very comfortable with an arbored patio, dining area, and spacious bedrooms. The proprietors were kind, charming and most helpful to a group of weary travelers looking for a nice peaceful stay.

Wonderful location in a park with old trees, swimmingpool and pergola just outside Aix les bains. Only 11 minutes by car away. Generous breakfast with freshly made fruit salad, croissants, artisanal bread and exquisit jam. The host is very welcoming and knowledgeable about Aix and the places to visit and where to eat. We had a wonderful time. Thank you very much.

This is an exceptionally beautiful property located close to Aix-en-Provence. Florence is such a lovely host - kind, attentive and helpful. The accommodation is spacious, clean and well equipped. The gardens of the property are really beautiful and we hope to return here again in the future.

Florence is a fabulous host, the grounds are beautiful, and the room and bed are big and comfortable. We couldn't get over how well done and thoughtful everything was and staying here having wine/cheese at the pool and on the terrace at night was one of the highlights of our trip. I recommend renting a car and driving to downtown Aix, it's very easy with a great 3 Euro parking option.

Excellent Liked · Our host, Florence, was approachable, friendly and very helpful throughout our stay. She went out of her way to assist us with suggestions of what to see in the area. Our rooms were luxurious, spotlessly clean and beautifully appointed. The whole property, overlooking the french countryside is fantastic. We had a car so it was very easy to get to the nearby towns. The breakfasts had an abundant of options, were absolutely delicious and beautifully laid out. Our stay was exceptional and we would highly recommend this property. We would love to return.

Beautiful, expansive estate less than 5 kms from the heart of Aix. Newly renovated, spacious bed and bathrooms. Thoughtfully stocked common kitchen and ample included breakfast. Stunning pool amid formal gardens. Charming outdoor pergola and terrace for relaxing and breakfast.

I couldn’t figure out how to open the shutters in the bedroom in the morning.

We absolutely loved our stay at Domaine de Saint Clair. The rooms were spotless and the property is beautiful. Florence (the host) was amazing - she met us when we arrived, gave us a tour around the property, and provided breakfast every morning. We loved hanging out by the pool in the afternoons and the proximity to Aix-En-Provence. Will definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay here! The property and lodging were idyllic and serene, just beautiful. It was very clear that all the small details were carefully designed for the guests’ enjoyment. Florence was a wonderful and gracious host, and so helpful with suggestions for the area. After a continental breakfast to start each morning, we explored the nearby areas of Marseilles, Aix-en-Provence, the Calanques, and the lavender fields of Valensole. We hope to be back soon.
