This is a green-oriented hotel place at 10 minutes by car from Aix en Provence and 20 minutes from Marseilles. The structure and the staff are cozy. The rooms are spacious, clean, equipped with comfortable beds. The pillows could be maybe changed with those in memory foam, but it's just a minor observation. The rooms have a nice balcony looking at the swimming pool. The hotel offers also other nice activities which give people chances to stay together as it was before the "smartphone-era": archery, bowls, ping-pong, billiards, foosball, board games, etc... During special days the hotel invites artists to entertain the customers from appetizer time to end of dinner time. Very appreciated is the fact that at reception you can take limitless bottles of filtered water which you can integrate with mint and or strawberry syrup, if you like. The staff is very kind.

Our fridge was broken and: (1) this wasn't spot by the personnel before our arrival (2) there wasn't a spare fridge anywhere handy to replace the broken one This was an inspected bad luck which we did not think the staff couldn't fix with a simple replacement using a spare appliance. As matter of fact the staff kindly offered to put the food in the fridge at the reception, but wouldn't have been comfortable to go downstair in the evening, in the night or in the early morning to catch the food and come back to the room

The hotel itself is great but didn't realise it was so far out of town and no public transportation on Sunday, so paid a hefty 30 Euros to get from the bus station to it. But there is a regular bus service during the week that is a 10 minute ride. Hotel facilities were fine, but food in the restaurant rather limited and breakfast spread a little state (avoid the scrambled egg, go for the boiled one). The hotel has fantastic views. There is also a free water fountain, syrups to make drinks, coffee and pastries by reception. Lots of seating space around reception, and various types of entertainments behind reception area, like pools, video games, etc. The room was great, good size, clean, comfy, basic toiletries but fine, Nespresso style coffee machine, room service. The reception staff went out of their way to help, answering many queries and giving good tips. Thank you particular to Fabienne, who patiently helped my elderly relations. Overall, a good stay!

Distance from town, but my mistake for not having checked. Just don't arrive on a Sunday or you'll pay a bom in taxi fares if you don't rent a car. Food in the restaurant could have more local dishes

The breakfast was very good and the swimming pool was very nice. Fresh water was available to fill in at the reception. A lot of space in the parking place to park the car.

The swimming pool was open only at 9.00 a.m., thus it was not possible to go for swimming and have a shower before breakfast, as the breakfast was untill 10.00 a.m. There were no facilities to dry the towels and swimming suits as the room had no balcony. The room window was very unclean.

Great location outside of main town but this is a positive as the hotel gardens and pool and deck area back onto a golf course and give a real sense of escape and relaxation. The staff is very friendly and attentive to guests needs. The rooms are simple but clean and comfortable. Good breakfast selection.

Although the A/C had stopped working, the manager quickly offered a discount, turning a negative into a positive. Recommended to have a car for this location.

The gentleman who checked us in was wonderful as was the lady who checked us out. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. We had a great view of the courtyard and pool area below our window

The only negative experience at your fine hotel was the couple in the room next to us, had an animated discussion of their 'what appeared to be unhappy life' for about 30 minutes, way too early in the morning. (After 4 AM). To have such a discussion not in the privacy of your own home. Unfortunate but hopefully something was resolved for them.

Spent 2 nights at the hotel. I appreciate the staff members so lovely and welcoming. The rooms we booked was a family suite it was perfect, adequate room with very comfortable bed and pillow. Bathroom was small but again perfectly adequate and CLEAN" "My questions is about the amenities like the swimming pool that’s was closed. Was a bit disappointed as the children couldn’t swim. The room was well appointed and very clean. The bathroom was luxurious and well suited to my needs." Also the confectionery table needs more items added for different choice of teas. Apart from that the hotel was very good. Breakfast was very well prepared and presented in the breakfast area. Will definitely Recommend this hotel to family’s and singles and friends wether short stay or long stay. 🤩🤩

Awesome hotel. It was very comfortable and pleasant. Ideal for a holiday in Provence when exploring by car. There is free parking at the hotel. The staff was very nice and friendly. 10 min drive to Aix

The AC in the hotel struggled a bit. It was 40 C when we were there. But we managed by keeping the curtains drawn to prevent the room from warming up. Didn't get uncomfortable.

We booked it as a stopover on our road trip and wow what a great find! Staff were very warm and friendly. Room was very nice. Loved the bar food menu! And the games room with billiard table, table football and pinball was a fun way to pass a rainy evening. Pool and grounds looked very inviting and the breakfast was very good. Great value for money and I’d well recommend. I will be watching out for this hotel chain name on future trips.

Everything was excellent

This is my second time staying at Hotel Birdy. Rooms are tastefully decorated, spacious and clean, love the hard wood floors (I personally find carpeted floors gross). There’s a small fridge, although it’s not very cold.

Unfortunately during this stay, the air conditioning was not turned on and hot air was coming through the vent making it a very uncomfortable sleep. Had to open the windows, but that wasn’t very effective as the curtains would pretty much keep the windows closed.

Nice hotel with good kids policy. Couldn’t book a room through booking.com with mentioning that we are with a kid. It offered me only rooms with extra beds. But at the counter lady told me that it’s fine and no extra payment needed. More then that, she told us they have free breakfast for kid younger than 12.

A bit old rooms and poor soundproofing. I could hear neighbors taking shower.
