Perfect place to discover a beautiful yet less frequently visited area of the Haute Savoie, located between the bustle of Annecy and Chambery. Great restaurant. Bright fresh single room on the corner with fantastic views. And last but certainly not least, the owners were always friendly despite working very long hours due to staff being unwell. Really keen to return again!

Zero complaints, just a few tips... I only booked two hours before arrival. Advance credit card payment was a bit of a headache for everyone because like many card holders it's not possible to charge mine without use of a pin or app. More of a booking.com thing and we sorted it out on arrival. And finally if you're going for a late evening stroll make sure you get the entry code! Went out sans phone and came back to find the hotel shuttered up. My sincere apologies for disturbing their well earned rest were of course outdone by their own apologies for the inconvenience!

Beautiful hotel. We are traveling with three children (7, 5, 1 1/2). By mistake we thought that we had reserved a room with 3 beds and then an extra bed for a child plus a baby crib. Turned out, that it was three beds in total and a baby crib. The lady in the hotel reception accepted that we could sleep all of us in that room (two children sharing a bed). That was very kind. We had dinner (pizzas) and breakfast in the hotel. The food was delicious and price was reasonable. The snack shop just on the other side of the road offers ice cream (Nice staff) and the Fromagerie is also worth visiting. We went for a small walk (the orchide route) which suited the family including the children on 5 and 7.

The staff obviously didn’t like (our) children, and they hushed very aggressively on our children (first the lady and five minutes after the man) when we went out of the room at 7.45 this morning. It was very unpleasant. They were not very loud and it was not very early in the morning. This made our stay less pleasant than we had hoped for.

Lovely location in the quiet Bauges mountains. The hotel is simply furnished but very well maintained and clean. The owners couldn’t be more helpful and the food was great.

It would be nice to have tea making facilities in the room. The shower spills water over the floor, which is a bit annoying.

Location was ideal just off the main through road of the village. The staff/owner was very friendly.

The restaurant only had a very limited part of the menu available (warmed up pasta) nothing was available that was freshly cooked or that was not pasta. There were no other restaurants nearby. There was no bar open. Parking was not secure. The owner/staff spoke no English.

Amazing place with such lovely hosts and staff. Extremely clean. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. Also worth mentioning is the absolutely delicious cuisine. This place provides excellent relaxation.

It’s a ski chalet in a small village in the alps

It was closed to guests and Booking.com accepted my money. The owner was cross and I had to go over the road for coffee while he rang Booking.com to argue. I offered to go elsewhere but he said no and I felt awkward. He never made me feel comfortable but his wife was kind and warm and persuaded me to stay so I did.

I have never felt less welcome anywhere. The owner was not welcoming at all, is rude and speaks only French. The hotel claims to have wifi, but it does not work.
