The location was exactly what I was looking for - very close to the main train station. Upon arrival, the gentleman who checked me in was extremely pleasant, friendly and helpful - a very nice chap! I made a request for a quiet room and that was honoured. The Hotel in general was very clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. I have no negative feedback whatsoever. When I checked out the following morning, the young lady on reception was very helpful too and even arranged my taxi to the airport. All in all it was a very pleasant experience, so "thank you" to everyone involved - including the cleaners!!!

The location to the train station, literally next door. The Hotel is small. Our room was small but clean. The bedding was immaculate. We found the bed comfortable and slept well. It was humid but the fan in our room kept us cool. The staff were friendly and very helpful and kind. The price of £60 per night was great. Thankyou to the staff for their kindness in finding us a taxi for our onward journey during The Tour de France.

Great location outside the station. Walk into town, and buses to Lac du Bourget beach. Room was clean and comfortable. No aircon in the room but a large fan provided. Breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

I was in a room next to the lift and the doors squealed quite badly every time they opened. Because of the busy street outside I couldn't leave the window open at night.

LACK OF SECURITY Anyone can walk in and go upstairs to the rooms. Too many times there was nobody at the font desk, any time of day and evening. Anyone can grab a key and enter any room. Besides the cleaning staff do not lock the rooms with the key, although doors are locked when you close them. Finally, employees are not identified, another security feature that's missing.

A great location for any train travellers as very close to the train station. There was a nice welcome on arrival. I enjoyed a complimentary cup of tea from the facilities at reception. My room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was available from early morning which was great as I had an early train to catch. Staff were professional. The breakfast buffet provided lots of options.

Excellent location. Greatly appreciated the coffee making facilities (kettle) in reception. I brought coffee and tea bags with me on holiday but disappointed to discover that in-room tea-making is not routinely provided in hotels in Italy or France as in UK. The reception area kettle was a nice touch of hospitality.

Our visit coincided with very hot and humid weather. The fan provided didn't add much comfort and was noisy through the night.

Not my first time there ,I always travel to chambery once a month fr work and stay there ,it remains my favorite in terms of location, facilities...value for money , flexible check out time

There is no AC and it's unbearable the hit air that comes from the ventilator...however I believe putting a would be a good option if ever u consider it..

The hotel was busy, yet rooms clean, bet comfy and shower nice and powerful. Early continental breakfast available from 5.30 was a bonus.

It was a bit noisy as right opposite the station, but as we had to book at short notice due to a rockslide on the route to Moutiers, we were happy to to have found accommodation at all.

Close to the city centre. Friendly, helpful staff.

The weather was very hot, and the hotel rooms have no air conditioning (although fans were available in our two rooms). Driving into the underground car park can be challenging if you have a larger car since it is very narrow. You have a public paying parking lot 100m away, which could be an alternative.

Great position right opposite the station. Beds were very comfortable and everything was clean. The hotel has a lift . Reception staff helpful and friendly.

Our room had a pipe in the left corner, pipe was extremely hot. This meant that the room was very,very hot,slept with balcony door wide open,that was the only minus point as otherwise I'd give 10
