The bed was very comfortable. As a double bed should do, it offered more than sufficient space for 2 people to sleep in. The bathroom had enough storage room for toothbrushes and other bathroom utensils. The shower worked nicely and it was easy to switch between warm and cold water. There was extra small storage room for books or mobile phones next to the bed. Furthermore, there were a few hangers to hang jackets or other clothes. All in all, the entire double-bed room offered enough space for two people to stay in.

The wardrobe with the hangers for clothes did not offer any drawers or cupboard surface to store other clothes, so you had to live out of your luggage. If people want to stay more than one night, this might no be ideal. Additionally, it would have been nice to have a mosquito net or protection in front of the windows. The simple reason for this is that in hot French summer nights, windows need to be open for most of the time and with mosquito nets, it would be simply more comfortable for guests to leave the windows open and the lights switched on during the evening. I can understand though that installing a mosquito net might be a difficult matter to implement for the accommodation.

Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, rooms small and comfy, beds fluffy and comfortable, and staff extremely accommodating. We were assigned a room on a lower floor. When we asked about the possibility of changing to a room on an upper floor, it was no problem at all.

Everything was perfect

Surprisingly good breakfast. Very polite and helpful person at the reception and during the breakfast. The room was big, after that I closed double windows no noise from outside so I slept well. Fortunately the airco was working noiseless.

Very clean, very comfortable, very quiet, excellent location. But by far what most pleased me was the incredibly accommodating and friendly staff. Francisca, Marylin, and Catherine went out of their way to make my stay as pleasant as possible. To summarize they were absolutely charming and wonderful. Thank you !

No wifi in the rooms; only in lobby

friendliness of staff was outstanding. atmosphere at breakfast very relaxed. I loved my view over the railway lines and with the mountains in the background. very quiet and peaceful night’s sleep. tv worked. position right in centre near the art gallery and station and the price was just about affordable. beautiful city. For me this was the outstanding hotel in a nine-day tour of Europe. thank you.

Breakfast: very poor variety + it was gonna and not renewed when I came (had to scrape the only available dish - eggs and bacon - from the common plate)
