We had dinner in the restaurant which was nice. Only spoilt by another couple there who destroyed any ambience by their loud conversations both with each other and on their mobile phones. Perhaps this is something the hotel could encourage people not to do with respect to other diners? Apart from that we liked the rest and it was a great location with secure storage for our bikes.

As above, perhaps a reminder to people staying and eating there that they are not the only ones who want to enjoy their evening. But we liked everything else!

Amazing property. We loved every minute from the warm friendly welcome, personal creative attention to detail with a relaxed charm that had us immediately agreeing we had checked it to the right place to feel the vibe of this perfect French town.

We were so lucky to arrive on Saturday night and experience a wonderful dinner by Sam and amazing music by Cleo and Samson. One of the best places we’ve stayed in our 3 weeks touring France.

A very welcoming young couple, nothing was too much trouble. Although the restaurant is closed on a Sunday evening, they made a cold plate for us . It's in a lovely quiet location .

The shower was very small and needs cleaning a little better. Would benefit from an update.

It was near the end of a long day's travelling and we were worried we might arrive to late to eat. I called to ask about this, and Anne went out of her way to email me their menu and make sure the kitchen received our orders before we arrived. Stress removed. We had a lovely relaxed meal and were able to enjoy our evening. Thankyou.

Staff lovely! , food and range of drinks at breakfast was really good. We had an evening meal there too which was delicious!Not offered any of the specials on the board though :-(.

Room was quite small. Bathroom ok , a little dated. Quite hot but found a small fan in cupboard.

Great location 15 minutes walk from town straight into the countryside, woken up by birdsong rather than cars. Les charmettes, home of Rousseau next door. The new owners are very enthusiastic, helpful and charming and speak great English and have a great team working with them. Huge bonus is safe parking which none of the hotels in town could offer. Great stop off for travelling up to the mountains. Not forgetting the great restaurant !

Just outside Chambery but peaceful and rural. Staff were charming and went the extra mile - directed us, upon departure to the cheapest tankful of fuel that we found crossing Western Europe? Easy car parking within sight of your room.

Restaurant standard (menu/service etc.) did not live up to the quality of the hotel.

Sam is a trained chef who has one goal, pleasing his guest beyond their wildest exceptions. Dinner was over the top. Of all the hotels on our 2 week cycling tour the O Prevenches was the group favorite.

We had very pleasant room with quite a nice view out of the front of the hotel. We had dinner in the hotel's restaurant and were very impressed with the standard of the food, high quality ingredients, very fresh and beautifully cooked - definitely a gastro hotel. Breakfast was also very good and the staff and owners were all very pleasant. Would definitely recommend.

We arrived on a Tuesday, late morning which meant we had to wait until after 5pm to get into our room as they do not open to guests until then on Tuesdays, which we had not noticed when we booked. It would be an improvement if guests could check in earlier in the afternoon!

It's beautiful. The location, the air, friendliness, food. Old fashioned, cheery hospitality, from vibrant young staff. Love it! And we had a huge, new, lovely bed!
