The room was spotlessly clean - Comfortable bed - Nice balcony and beautiful outside garden to sit and have a drink.

As there is no shop nearby a bottle of water in the room would have been nice - Also sugar and milk very limited to have tea or coffee with kettle provided in room. Only one roll of toilet roll. Small little faults that can be easily rectified.

I had informed the hotel that I would arrive early and they accommodated that, with a very friendly welcome. They even gave me access to their private garage for my road bike (no way it could have gone in the room !), very very helpful and friendly staff. I was in time for lunch in the hotel restaurant and it was really outstanding and good value too. The room was very nice, pretty spacious and very comfortable and clean, with a view of the mountains and a sliver of lake.

There was a mini heatwave that weekend, not the hotel's fault (!), but the lack of air-conditioning cost me some sleep. The room was in a beautiful attic on the fourth floor which didn't help, and neither did opening the windows (there was no breeze). After moving the fan next to the bed I did manage to get comfortable enough to fall asleep, but if it's hot then you may want to check on this for your room. I have no doubt the staff would have tried to find a solution if I had been staying longer (it was a one night stay).

The hotel is very cute and cozy and the staff are amazingly friendly. The room was very nice and comfortable with a lovely view. There is a small wine bar by the reception that I found extremely relaxing.

While I found the location very suitable, it could be challenging for some since it's uphill so going back from downtown involves a good climb. There is however a bus stop right outside the hotel. The two things the room lacked were a coffee machine and a mini bar.

Hotel was clean and comfortable with pleasant staff. The room had a nice view. There was a kettle in the bedroom for making tea. The location is great for the old town. The lake is nearby with plenty to see and do.

The breakfast was overpriced. The menu did not make it clear what was included and how much the options were.

The breakfast was good, staff were friendly, polite and helpful. Hotel is very neat. The staff at different times consciously tendered to my needs.

Bathroom was small. A small fridge in the room would not be a bad idea and the choice of complimentary refreshment need to be improved. Some English translations will not do the hotel disfavours

This hotel exceeded our expectations! Clean & comfortable rooms, with nice views toward lake. Well located. We must compliment the Hotel owner Emilia, for going out of her way to make our stay a memorable one. Great service. Hotel restaurant is also highly rated. Excellent food selection. Would definitely recommend the Hotel Gallia.

Everything- the location,accommodation and services. Emilia went out of her way to organise a taxi both when arrived from Flix bus stop 5kms out of the town and for a taxi to take us to the same bus stop on the Sunday morning - when not many taxis operate.
