On motorcycles and a little traumatic finding the hotel in pouring rain!. Satnav told us to turn left into a non-existent alley! Front entrance is in a pedestrianised area. We parked up and had to walk to find it. Fortunately I had checked on Google Maps so I had an idea where the entrance should be. We accessed the hotel from rear where there was reasonably safe free parking for the motorcycles. They were also covered by the hotel CCTV.. Rooms very good. Spacious clean and modern. Restaurants near by. No air-con, could be hot in the summer! Good breakfast selection. Reasonable price but no gluten free bread, which was pre requested for one of the party. Good Wi-Fi. Good location if wanting to see the city and the lake which we intended to do when the rain stopped. It didn't stop all evening!

Very comfortable bed and beautiful room

It was July and very warm and we had a fan in our room that didn’t work. We arrived around midnight to the room and couldn’t turn it on because it was broken. On top of it there was a lot of noise outside therefore we couldn’t open the window otherwise our baby couldn’t sleep.

We found this a lovely place to stay- very friendly, helpful owners, good welcome,very comfortable bed, excellent shower, tea and coffee making in the room, interesting , historic building ,good breakfast, walking distance from station, well located close to interesting parts of town.

The hotel placed a fan in the room. We arrived late to the room and realised the fan didn’t work. We had our daughter of 6months with us and the room was warm, which made it very uncomfortable to sleep. We had to open the window but there was quite some noise from the bars outside. Next time is important to test the appliances before placing them.

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Close to good restaurants.

The stairs and lack of air conditioning in most rooms. They did change our rooms easily for us.

Very charming hotel in a gorgeous stone building with beautifully renovated rooms ( with A/C) . Perfect location in the historical centre of Aix-les-Bains. French breakfast was delicious and includes a selection of home cooked and local products. The hosts are exceptionally nice and welcoming. I had a very enjoyable 4 nights stay at the Hôtel de La Couronne and I am looking forward already to my next visit ! Thank you !

Great location in the pedestrian part of the town. Madame was very helpful and made some sensible lunch and dinner suggestions and warned about the need to book. They were also very accommodating about stroring our luggage.
